    doesn't offend me, neither does a business saying something like "Happy Holidays" as it covers all the holidays, it makes sense for them

    I celebrate Christmas and I do not believe in a God
    but like some Christians get upset about "Happy Holidays" some may get upset with "Marry Christmas"

    now if you wish me Merry Christmas today, I might look at you weird, But I would do the same if you wished me a happy thanksgiving today as they are both more then a month away

    yes, he did not send a card for each holiday, he sent one card for the entire holiday season, but Obama did wish people merry Christmas too, is Trump gonna start a war on all other holidays?

    Presidents going back about 60 years didn't have "Merry Christmas" on their WH Christmas cards either. Including GW Bush, who was an Evangelical Christian. Loons like the people at WND went nuts.

    Technically, it would be appropriate to wish someone an evil Halloween.

    As a Catholic kid, the cool part about Halloween was that the next day is All Saint's Day - a Catholic holiday. Disneyland celebrated this with Catholic Schools Day. So us Catholic kids had the run of the place.

    The public school kids had to go to school. Neener neener neener. :D

    Well, thank god that Trump is going to win this war on Christmas. Maybe someday we'll have a Christmas Tree in the White House again. Or one on Rockefeller Center. Maybe they'll allow people to hang stockings again and go to Church on Christmas Eve. Hell - maybe even someday, a white, Christian dude will be President.

    What gets me is that aren't all the people whinging about the war on christmas saying "merry christmas" to each other? Aren't all the stores and businesses they own do the same? Isn't it a choice and not an obligation?

    And considering that the religious aspect of christmas has been almost entirely subsumed by a pagan display of both generosity and greed,seems like the "war" gives the religious the perfect deflection from falling attendance, even worse adherence to dogma and regular financial and sexual scandals amongst themselves. Why ask really hard questions about the practice of their faith when they can whinge about their own 'oppression'?

    Personally I've lost nothing, it's our society that suffers as the anti Christian left wing chips away at the foundation of our Christian values society. They pretend it hurts their feelings when people say Merry Christmas so they do all they can to get those words on the not PC list and "strictly vorboden" to say in public.
