    She's not a liar it's just you can expect people to misunderstand things spoken in the English language especially when they don't have a good grasp of it themselves.

    Remember black vernacular English is not American English so there's actually going to be some misunderstandings between two people speaking a different dialect of English.

    This is common sense.

    Actually, Trump HAS bragged about having the best memory. All you have to do is Google "Trump has the best memory" and lots of news stories pop up. Here's one to get you started.

    Granted, the stories where he claims to have the worlds greatest memory are from the campaign trail. And yeah, I get it..............anything Trump said on the campaign trail, we can't hold him to because it was just campaign rhetoric.

    I heard that woman speak. The language she speaks and understands is called black English vernacular NOT American English. Donald Trump speaks American English.

    There's obviously going to be misunderstandings when you have two people speaking different dialects to each other. Nothing against this woman I'm sure she's a fine human being and this isn't her fault.

    I'd be willing to bet that the widow has a better understanding of the English language than Trump does. Have you ever noticed that he pretty much says the same thing about everything? If he likes it, it's great and the best. If he doesn't, it's a loser and the worst and sad.

    That's like saying I have a better grasp of Australian English than you do if you're Australian and I'm not. I haven't even attempted to speak Australian English you do so even if you're terrible at Australian English you're better at it than me because I don't speak it.

    This woman does not speak American English. The dialect of English she speaks is called black English vernacular and Donald Trump speaks American English. There are vast differences between the two and there's going to be misunderstandings when individuals from both dialects speak to one another.

    That doesn't mean she's smarter than Trump and it doesn't mean that Trump is smarter than her there's just natural differences between the two dialects and there will be misunderstandings when the two speak.

    You know, if you guys want to REALLY understand how the military generally handles these things, and would like to know what the specific instructions are for dealing with and contacting families of fallen soldiers, go to Google and look for "Casualty Assistance Calls Officer" and whatever service you would like to know about, and it will take you to the actual instructions of how this is handled.

    It starts with a message that is sent from the command at the highest speed priority, and that is what sets the ball rolling. It also outlines the specific timeline for how quickly things are supposed to be done.

    How do I know? I was a Personnelman for 20 years in the U.S. Navy, and have had to do one of these before.

    Sorry, but I'm a U.S. Navy veteran with over 20 years of service and have been in 4 different combat zones. Yeah, when the **** hits the fan and things look a bit grim, we joke to each other that hey, we knew what we were getting into when we signed up, but that is something that would NEVER be said to a widow during her time of grief. Even if you knew the family really really well.

    Talking to and trying to console the relatives of the fallen, you are to talk about how they were an asset to the command, how everyone liked them, as well as how much they are going to be missed.

    Not that they knew what they were getting into when they signed up. Why? Because it kinda sounds like you're blaming the service member for getting killed because they signed up.

    Gallows humor has a place at work, but it has no place when trying to console a loved one.

    One of her chief complaints was that Trump did not know the name of her husband. According to CACO manual procedures, Trump would have been briefed on several specifics about her husband before the call, but it is up to him to remember to use them.

    Yeah, I'd be pissed if the president called and did not remember or know the name of the person I'd lost too.

    People often these days confuse what a witness says vs what the media says was said.

    I heard two complaints from the widow, that she did not like Trump's tone of voice and she stated he did not know her husband's name. And she wants details of his death.

    Trump had the name of her husband on paper. How could he not know the man's name? She admits she did not like his tone and yet other widows call Trump very respectful. What is the widows excuse for calling the president disrespectful?
