I don't know if this is the solution to the homeless problem.

In recent years, with the number of homeless spiking during the Recession, there has been an effort to design mobile pods to shelter the homeless.

This one appears to have a covered wagon design

Plenty of room for your legs if you want to lie down.

Some of these designs get downright creative, or bizarre.

These inflatable homeless shelters harness air vent exhaust

Artist designer Michael Rakowitz designed this inflatable shelter that uses excess heat coming out of a building's vents to both inflate the structure and keep the homeless warm.
The "paraSITE" shelters (aptly named) are simple, effective and cost under $5.

This is basically a cardboard box, that folds up origami-style.

It can be scaled up in size too: https://inhabitat.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/2010/09/Cardborigami-13.jpg

    This one is lightweight.

I think another maybe more pertinent issue is the homeless not having a protected place where they can leave their belongings.

There is high resistance to homeless issues and the problems are complex,
    Mental health issues
    Drug issues
    Domestic Violence issues
    Economic Issues
    Sociopolitical Issues
    Adequate Housing Issues

Just making Tiny Houses is not helping.
