The only other NCAA Football thread I could find was closed for a post limit?!? Is 750 posts the limit for this program? Strange.

Anyway...I thought I would try and start another one.

And I am starting with Iowa's AMAZING. blowout win over the Ohio State Buckeye's - 55-24!!!

I have been a Hawkeye fan since the mid-80's (when I went to university in Iowa) and this is one of the biggest wins in that time that I can remember.

But what I like more is Wisconsin being undefeated and ready ... with another Heisman possible running back ...

    Nice to be back.

Maybe they should play a ranked team?

    Maybe,

    Or not.

I think Nebraska may have been ranked.

In the end, make it to the final four, win two games and no one cares who you played in the interim.

Yep, Wisconsin needs to play a tougher schedule........like Alabama playing Mercer today......and Clemson knocking off the Citadel in another tough fought battle today. Meanwhile Wisconsin was crushing a ranked Michigan squad.....

How many ranked teams did Wisconsin play this year?

They will need to beat Minnesota and then Ohio State to have a shot. We will leave that to the pollsters, but I think that Big Red can at least finish the regular season undefeated and can likely beat OSU in the Big Ten Championship.

The question is why does an 11-0 team in a Power 5 conference 'need to' win out to be placed in the top four when there are two one loss teams ahead of them?????

The Big 10 shot itself in the foot last year regarding Bowl game performance. I personally thought Ohio State was ranked way too high all year, this year. If OSU wins, I don't believe they deserve a top 4 spot. So .... if OSU wins, I don't believe Wisconsin deserves that top 4 spot either. The math is pretty simple for my liking. Win and you're in. On Wisconsin!
