I don't necessarily believe all of these allegations are unfounded, but the frequency and amount of allegations certainly seems to be going overboard, more of a Zeitgeist as a counter response to the new thinking of the Trump era.

 

There obviously will be a push back. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

How about 30 or 40 years ago? It seems for a lot of these it has become a he said, she said situation without proof one way or the other. I'll say this, 30-40 years ago the climate was different than now. That doesn't make it sexual harassment right, just it was viewed differently or not as harshly as now. A woman was much inclined to keep these things quiet back then. But after all of that time, proving it one way or the other is near impossible. That is unless the guy admits to it.

I think what is troubling is that in many of these old cases the sexual harassment was reported to the overall boss, but basically dismissed. Someone wasn't doing their job.

 

This is how that works. When someone doesn't do their job then it opens the flood gates when justice is served. This is why things have to be done right from the get go.
