I’m a crip gang member which is close to a religion, we have attire, meetings, annual hood day, greetings. Should I be allowed to wear a Blue bandana or a blue du rag to work?

It includes anything that the teacher feels is disruptive. It could be a crip "du rag" like 317 likes to wear, or it could be a MAGA hat, or an american flag pin badge.

Students do not have rights in school.

Right. Even if the hajib is against the dress code (I doubt it is) the teacher should never, ever take it off her head. The student should be sent to the offupicecand thevpsrents should be called. But it shouldn't even go that far. I see nothing wrong with a hajib. A burka? That would be different.

There was a story a couple months ago about a black woman ripping a Trump supporter's cap from his head. She'd had no right to do that.

That is up to your employer.

    I wouldn't want it where I work.

One of my university degrees was in English Education so I taught for a while and didn't like the bureaucratic & PC nonsense that went along with teaching so I quit.
I can assure you that students DO have rights in school. However schools also have dress codes, no guns allowed policies and other restrictions that are reasonable & constitutional in most cases.

Don't you think that if that same teacher had removed a yarmulke from a student's head & the parents complained that the ADL would have been all over this?

Do they have the right to free speech? Nope. Second amendment? Nope.

Sorry, but you're wrong. Students have no rights.

I hope you're being sarcastic otherwise you know nothing about Muslims.

I look very American & spent 10 - 11 months walking & hitch-hiking throughout the Islamic Middle East by myself and was only treated with kindness & generous hospitality the shoe time in Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Iran etc

I had the same sorts of experiences throughout the Islamic Mid East as those listed in the article below:

"Ten Reasons Why Iranians are the Kindest People in the World (to Foreign Tourists)"

    http://en.rocketnews24.com/2012/09/...dest-people-in-the-world-to-foreign-tourists/

EXCERPT "During my stay in the country,[IRAN] I soon came to realize what everyone was talking about. Below is a list of ten things I encountered that I believe attest to the kindness of Iranians.

    1. About 30 people a day would approach me on the street and ask “Is there anything I can help you with?” or “Welcome to Iran!”

    2. About three time a day, complete strangers would ask me where my hotel was and invite me to stay with them. I ended up taking one person up on the offer once. Talk about budget travel!

    3. When caught wandering along the street while looking at a map, people would take up to 30 minutes of their own time showing me the way to my destination.

    4. Like Japan, it is common courtesy in Iran to give up your seat on the subway when an elderly person gets on. What surprised me is that many Iranians would give up their seat for me because I was a tourist. When I tried to tell them I was fine standing, they would reply: “You’re a tourist, right? Thank you for coming to Iran! Let me express my gratitude! Please, sit down!”

    5. While visiting the Naqsh-e Jahan Square World Heritage Site in Esfahan, more than 20 people offered to have tea or lunch together, some with their families!

    6. People would frequently come up to me and ask to take a picture together.

    7. People would treat me to tea or a meal for no apparent reason. Whenever I tried to pay they decline to take my money.

    8. Most stores don’t try to rip off tourists.

    9. Foreign tourists are instant celebrities. Whenever I was in a tourist spot, I would be surrounded by Iranians asking me to take pictures with them or exchange contact information.

    10. Nearly everyone you make eye contact with on the street smiles at you and says “Hello!” in English.

I’ve visited over 40 countries in my travels, and nowhere have I encountered a people kinder than the Iranians."CONTINUED

You're talking about Shia Muslims here. Lebanon, Irak, Iran, Syria are Shia countries.

Shia Muslims don't want to kill us, only Sunni Muslims do.

Turkish Muslims are different. They want to take us over : https://www.rt.com/news/381166-erdogan-turks-five-children/

Unfortunately we have to have a culture like this that's hostile to Muslims in order to allow the word to travel over to the Muslim world that America is not a tolerant place for Muslims to move to.

Blacks still resent the Jews for being over-represented per capita in the transatlantic slave trade.

There was a Muslim girl that wore a hijab in the high school where I substitute teach. Nobody gave it a second thought.

I should know since I was there back in 1973. The vast majority of Muslims in Iraq for example are Sunni while Iran is predominately Shia.

Either way, I was around both and they were all extremely hospitable to me.

At the time I had a reddish beard, light brown hair and blue eyes, looked very different from my generous hosts and not only managed to keep my head but was treated as a sort of celebrity.

Everywhere I went, people wanted to talk to me, treat me to tea, a meal, introduce me to their friends and family and chat as if they had all the time in the world.

The Muslims I met were very fond of everything American, American cars, American movies & American people who made all these marvelous things.

One of the questions I was asked most frequently was "Why do Muslims suddenly hate us?" and "Why do Americans help the Israelis kill us?"

I tried to explain the toxic and corrupt power of Israeli lobbies and the influence of America's pro Israel MSM but my audience still couldn't understand how such sophisticated Americans could be so easily deceived and neither can I although I wouldn't characterize bigots as sophisticated.

It sounds like you, too have been deceived by America's pro Israel MSM.

Real secular humanists aren't combative anti-theists who claim to love theists but actually hate them and **** all over them all the time.

Holy cheese an rice...the student also had a hoodie on, the teacher is notorious for waking up people sleeping in the class room that throw on hoodies.

The teacher was lecturing and walking around the class room slapping rulers on desks, removing sunglasses, and pulling down hoodies. Upon realizing he grabbed the hijob along with the girls hoodie, he made a witty comment....judge from that what you will.

Number one if this is occurring of the teachers not wrong if there is a rule against it. I remember when I was in high school it was against the rules to wear a hat.

And no I don't believe this is epidemic or even occurring I think it's lies it normally is.

    Reminds me of Manifest Destiny.

Who's armies are where again? As far as I'm concerned all you frothy mouthed rabid fundamentalist male dominator god freaks can, and please think about it at least, slaughter each other off and leave the planet in a better place.

That kind of depends whether wearing a baseball cap is a recognised tennet of your faith. If not it is a false comparison.

Is being a Raiders fan a recognised religion or are you just avoiding the question?
As a Jedi should I be allowed to bring my light sabre to class with me?
