What makes you think Trump is responsible for, for example, the dow jones and consumer confidence and unemployment....

all crumbled to lows under Bush....and rose steadily under Obama...even deportation was better under Obama.

Round 'em up, boil 'em up, feed 'em to strays.

That's about the only useful thing to do with The Following.

That should be easy to understand. The things you point to go up or down based upon people's EXPECTATIONS OF THE FUTURE and LESS UNCERTAINTY. Since expectations of the future are high, then things improve.

The problem Obama couldn't figure out was after getting his economic improvement package passed in 2009, then Obama proceeded to work on Obamacare. That blew his economic package away, literally. He created greater uncertainty about the future. If Obama had done nothing, the economy would have improved more than it did.

    That's Post-Keynesian Economics.

Your problem is that you've been tricked by the media and democrats. It doesn't work on the majority of people who no longer trust the media, or democrats.

Your own thoughts aren't even reality. An example, "Duh, everybody thinks I'm stupid for liking Trump. Maybe I should dislike him so I won't be stupid in their eyes, duh." Get a grip on reality.

Obama changed the way deportations were counted during his term, thereby artificially inflating his record. And you fell for it. :applause:

Actually, I didn't. I've read about the change in how the numbers were calculated compared to the Bush admin. But the Groper-in-Chief's numbers are down compared to Obama's. How do you know whose criteria Captain Chaos is using?
The overall point was to dispel the notion Don's record on deportation is significantly different or better than Obama's. It isn't. Anything else?

The fact is, people began deporting themselves when it became obvious immigration laws will be enforced. The numbers are also down because people also stopped, or slowed down trying cross the border illegally.

That is not a fact at all.

Obama had the definition of deportation changed which juiced the numbers.

    http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-obama-deportations-20140402-story.html

    Deportations dropped during Obama's Presidency

    https://www.nytimes.com/2014/04/17/us/us-deportations-drop-43-percent-in-last-five-years.html

Due to lax policies, and political encouragement, millions of illegal aliens crossed the border during the Obama administration.

    https://www.cbp.gov/newsroom/stats/sw-border-migration

The link you provided to the Politico story also explains that backlogs in the courts are responsible for current deportation numbers, and have nothing to do with the President's policies and focus on the issue.

Again, some people chose to embrace the facts that meet their bias, rather than dig for the truth.

    <Rule 2/3>

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are 27 MILLION legal and ILLEGAL immigrants in our workforce. That didn't happen since President Trump took office.

I have to give this thread a thumbs up. I am glad to see the realization that President Trump did not elect himself. There are millions of Americans that reject liberal progressivism.

Maybe, just maybe, all the Trump hate can subside and we can talk about real issues.

Of course there is a rational explanation. Humans are in charge here, and they are humans without conscience, and humans with greed and lust for power. Further, the US two party system has been intellectually and morally bankrupt since its inception, and it still is, in spades.

Sorry if it offends you. It's meant to highlight the cult-like devotion to Don in the face of compelling evidence his supporters have little reason to give him their allegiance so blindly.

It is not "cult like" and people like you characterizing it as such only assures that President Trump's supporters stay his supporters.

It is quite obvious that you and others of similar beliefs have no understanding whatsoever as to why Donald Trump was elected and why a substantial portion of Americans still support him.

There is literally nothing to refute. you doubled down on Hillary's deplorables comment and then whined because they voted for someone other than your preferred candidate, Your own words mark as an irrational zealot with no idea where the real problems are.

There is nothing, including factual information, that will dissuade hard core Trump supporters from continuing their support though it is encouraging to see support has dropped among those who can see things as they are.

Trump is a puppet of (((the establishment))). His white supremacism is just an act to trigger the left and trick them into blaming unpopular policies on white people.

Well, this kind of obsessive behavior from his haters has no rational explanation. But you are in good company for I listened to something similar for 8 years coming from obama's haters. So, we just have hate here, and an obsession with it.

I am only concerned with what trump either does or does not do for the common american, along with if he gets us into more unaffordable war, you know, the actual important non obsession things. Obama has his followers, and trump has his. Hey, that is life. But the whining does get old to the serious americans who are concerned about policy and law instead of stuck on personality.

Of course you are now attacking his supporters, and I guess pretty soon they will be the objects of hate as well? Since he is our President, I can see nothing good coming from this.

Harvard has certainly become the brunt of Fake News jokes. Some esteemed learning institution they are.

Harvard Law Review did not cleanse its 1991 yearbook which states he was born in Kenya.” As noted above, the biographical sketch pictured above was put out by a literacy agency; it was not part of any yearbook published by Harvard.

    First Obama, then Pocahontas.
