Administrative employees are nominally subject to the control of those appointed by politicians who have won elections, but Democrats embedded in the federal bureaucracy have proclaimed themselves part of the “resistance” to President Trump, and are using their positions to undermine his administration. Bureaucrats thus frustrate the will of the voters. President Trump has been in office for nearly a year, and has yet to take control over the federal bureaucracy that nominally reports to him.
I agree with Professor Barnett that this is a constitutional crisis. The most powerful branch of today’s government is the Fourth: the permanent federal bureaucracy that is nowhere mentioned in the Constitution. The Trump administration can best be viewed, perhaps, as a struggle to the death between American voters and the federal employees who are paid to serve them.

IMO, Yes, in slow motion led by the Kenyan usurper and the Clinton Crime Syndicate. What they don't seem to understand is that if they get close, their own well being will be in peril.
On a conspiratorial level, it’s all political. ‘Installing’ bureaucrats with ideologies has become a standard operational procedure by the Obama and Clinton crew.
On the more practical level, it’s psychology/sociology. There is an arrogance that I’m sure (but I don’t know personally) comes with serving in these positions where you believe that because you are privy to the inside information, you know better than the pesky critics who question your every move.
I suspect bother are true, to varying degrees, depending on who it is you are looking at.
It's becoming clear that we have three levels of action in DC, theater that we see and the MSM reports, and the Deep State/4th Branch that is destroying our nation.
Some of us have been trying to warn the American people about this for decades. You dismissed us as nutcase conspiracy theorists ...when you were being polite.
So, now that you've awoken and had your coffee, what are you going do next? Hold another election? "Reform" three million corrupt federal bureaucrats? Send cards and letters to D.C.? Telephone your Congress critters...whose staffs are comprised of career employees of D.C. politicians?
The problem however, is not intractable, but it is more involved than anyone has thought.

So you're now claiming against statements previously made by the former president didn't happen? Especially when chosen gnostic pagans infiltrated and promoted within Federal agencies by Obama, their goal was to "Fundamentally Transform America" and until they are systematically removed from office they will do anything and everything to fulfill that goal including resorting to violence, just as we have seen for the passed year.

Mueller found a problem and eliminated it (Strzok). Guess I don't see the problem.

The left of the relatively recent past and the left of the present have shifted concern about government overreach drastically. In the pre VN era, during and after, the left was the watchdog of big government moreso than the right. They listened to Ike about the Military-Industrial Complex and took him seriously. THEY waved the Constitution around. THEY protested CIA and other police power grab, THEY talked about and worshiped individualism. THEY were the rugged individualist wanting to escape and be left alone to their own devices.

Now? NOW? As long as 1) they can't relate government action to one of their identity/victimhood/grievance groups towards political currency, and 2) their bloated gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee checks are in the mailbox every Friday? Now, they don't give a rat's ass about the size and violent power of government or anything it does to infringe individual rights.

... just so long as the check's in the mail on Friday. Anyone who is concerned about big government? Well they are just conspiracy nuts, white supremacists, ignorant rural hillbillies and tea-baggers. My how things have changed in a few short decades.

IMO, even after 130 years, still one of the more prescient things ever written on politics.

And tried desperately to cover up the existence of the problem, knowing perfectly well that he was too late and the "problem" had tainted the investigation beyond repair and rendered it compromised and illegitimate.

An investigation must be completely above reproach, pristine and unassailable if it wants to unseat a democratically elected president. This investigation is a political circus.

Former FBI Counter Intelligence Research Specialist Peter Strzok is just a small part of the iceberg showing above the water.

The judiciary committee is questioning WHY Strzok was dismissed so quickly. Was it because he had been involved with the phony Trump dossier? along with the many other anti-Trump things he was involved in?

No answer was given even though the judiciary committee is the oversight for such things, meaning there's no reason not to answer.

The coming weeks should get VERY interesting.

A government shutdown would be nice. They always cut back to "essential personnel". That should be all we have on the payroll. Non essential personnel need to find work in the private sector. Maybe the FBI needs to cut back as well. It's worth looking into.

It's certainly common sense when you consider Obama's rhetoric and it's results in derisive racism and violence we have been experiencing .

It's not just the Deep State. Helping them to accomplish their goal are their partners in the msm and the Democratic Party.

Yeah, I think everyone knows it. A deep stater just got caught is all.

Here's my idea of the hierarchy:
    1. Top, democrats
    2. MSM
    3. deep state bureaucrats

Bureaucrats were passing false and classified info to the MSM, which then published said crap, that benefited democrat party. But they will certainly be the most difficult to root out.
