Don't give me that. Missing a question is hardly uncommon; you've missed (or ignored) more than one question I and other posters have posed to you. The other proposal, however, stands. If you want to make this a credibility test, then we let the other posters make the call. Those that find you more credible versus those who find me more credible, and who ever wins that vote gets to stay; the other leaves the forum never to return. Agreed?
No, it's not. Plain and simple, we should have had a national discussion about the right to bear arms way back in 1934; not allowed the government to enact what was obviously an end run around the Constitution and then allowed SCOTUS to put out a ruling that clearly was an extreme rationalization mean to preserve illegitimate government actions against a Constitutional right.

Based on my seven years of experience on this board. But apparently, I can always be wrong. So, okay.
My point is not to give you a bad time about your statement. I just want to indicate that gun control is not a simple yes or no issue. I know individuals who are solid Second Amendment supporters who see no problem with mandatory background checks. Some I know don't even have a problem with registration. I have trouble understanding their viewpoint because I think a person should be able to buy a gun at the convenience store on the corner. My only requirement would be the age of majority. Show your ID. 18 years of age. Buy what you want. Full auto no problem. I would think some here who favor gun ownership would not completely agree with my ideas. Rich
The laws you are talking about do not exist where I live. I support no new gun control laws and would like to see all existing gun control laws repealed.
You have claimed that one leads to the other, but that is the extent of the contribution by yourself. Irrelevant. The studies being referred to claim that it is a possibility, but that it is. The studies are nothing more than hypothetical guesswork that state one action may possibly lead to an outcome, but cannot demonstrate it to be factually correct.
Semantics. Isn't that the one of the main issues, interpretation of the meaning? I don't favor controlling guns as they are inanimate objects. Laws are meant to control people. As I have stated before, I don't believe people who have not reached the age of majority should be allowed guns. Criminals forfeit their rights. Crazy people should be cared for so as to not be a danger to themselves or society, in any way.
