Every Christian should listen VERY HARD to the waves of Democrats attacking the "thoughts and prayers" of grieving parents, friends and relatives, literally using the Florida school shooting as a basis to expose their true, deep bigotry and hatred of Christians. No, I don't mean ALL Democrats, but from this forum to Democrat talking heads to the globalist owned corporate MSM and press, the attacks against Christians and Christianity and Christians is as vicious and hateful bigotry as possible.

The current intense attacks and sneering at the "thoughts and prayers" towards the victims and survivors demonstrates the true level of bigotry and hatred of Christians by the leftwing. Literally to attack the families and friends who have lost a loved one to murder because they are praying. Other than outright spitting on them how could the leftwing and Democratic Party's MSM, press and little minions possible be more vicious and hateful solely driven by bigotry against Christians? And for no reason other than to express their hatred of Christians -rabid, vicious hatred. "Thoughts and prayers" harm no one, but the Democratic Party and the left are grotesquely using the terrible tragedy as an excuse to attack Christianity and declare anyone who isn't a fellow atheist is not only an idiot, but to try to blame Christians for the murder - as sick and lying accusation as possible.

Whether people pray for the victims, the survivors and those who love them is 100% irrelevant to the topic of gun control whatsoever. A person can be for all guns outlawed, and still pray for the victims and their loved ones. The attack against "thoughts and prayers" is SINGULARLY and to the most bizarre degree searching for any excuse possible to attack Christians, Christianity and everyone who isn't an atheist.

It particularly vicious and brutal, given the only hope a grieving parent, grandparent, sibling or friend has can be found in loving thoughts and hopeful prayers to the one they forever lost to savage and irrational murder. In fact, Christians in the USA have been specifically mass murders solely because they are Christians by mass murderers buying into the Democratic Party's and their minions non-stop vicious attacks and accusations against Christians.

MANY times I have posted on this forum that the CLEAR intense bigotry and hatred by the Democratic Party and millions of their minions - vicious, brutal, belittling proactive bigotry and hatred - is reason why every Christian should vote straight Republican for every office in every election as if their very lives depend upon it - because they very well might.

It’s not that they’re discriminating against Christians (or Christianity for that matter), it’s the fact that, every time something like this happens, politicians do nothing except give their thoughts and prayers. People want their elected officials to do more to prevent another shooting from happening again.

You need to not take it so personally! This has nothing to do with religion!

I don't think Christians are being attacked. The attack is on legislators who use the "thoughts and prayers" line in the wake of a mass shooting and then ignore the need to reconsider legislation attached to the private ownership of firearms.

At what percentage of an item used to kill someone should that item be banned?

There are over 200 million guns in this country and that number goes up daily. There are maybe 2000 guns used to murder someone in a year and maybe 3x more used to injure. Is .001% of guns really worth stripping 350 million peoples rights away?

Seems the OP is getting a bit parodied, if they were criticizing just Christians, they would have left the “thoughts” part off.

Sorry, it was just hanging there like a ripe fruit...

Funny, I tried using that same logic when it came to conservative posters fears about Muslims and immigrants, but fear rules the day.

Yes,, the amount of privately held firearms in the US is amazing. I have no idea what you can do about it though. It's entirely possible that the power of prayer or thoughts might be able to prevent more mass shootings but I doubt it, not with so many firearms around.

If they really wanted to do something about the shootings, they would look into psychiatric drugs....the common link with the shooters besides guns. And, those drugs are behavior related where guns are not. Besides, it is funner for the left to use gun events to champion their cause as well as attack Christians. For the most part.....after they took God out of our schools, phychiatric drugs came in.

I guess they should send a message like " Well I guess it was your guys turn to bear the assault of a demented person, like your former classmate who a lot of you thought was crazy. How many of you seen his message, how he "wanted to be a professional school shooter?" Did you report his post and what you seen to the school principal? Oh well. It's a shame about your class mates; but that's life. We could make your school a "guns free school" if it already isn't but then you know there wouldn't be anyway to stop a shooter who knew there was no way they could be stopped. You know, put up another sign with a gun in a red circle and a red slash through it. There are an estimated 320 million guns in the US so it isn't going to be possible to make everyone give up their gun. We could ban the NRA if that would make you happy and feel safer. We don't know of any NRA member who has done a mass school shooting but "what the hell." Enough of my apology I know some of you need to get back on your cell phones and play your violent video games, maybe, one of you will come up with a game app "Stop the shooter." Not enough violence in your life, then, when you get home turn on the TV and you wont have far to look for death and destruction. If all that fails, and your still miserable, you may want to wander over to one of those churches in your area and join the people there who are thinking about you guys. Who are praying for your comfort and your families comfort that you get through this. They are there to share your pain.

    Absolutely.

The use of the phrase "thoughts and prayers" (by do-nothing GOP politicians) comes across as cheap and banal.

The idea that the Dem. Party is "Anti-Christian" is beyond ludicrous.

Even a Tinfoil Hat the size of Jupiter couldn't contain that level of misguided paranoia.
