    The abomination in the White House has steadfastly maintained that he had no intention to run for president until shortly before he announced it on June 16, 2015.
    If this is true, why did he submit a trademark application for the phrase “Make America Great Again.” on Nov. 19, 2012 — two weeks after Mitt Romney lost the presidential election to Barack Obama?
    What would have been so wrong in coming out with a statement, at some point, saying something like, "After the Republican loss to Barack Obama, I decided that perhaps I might be able to make a difference in America, so I submitted a trademark application for the phrase “Make America Great Again.” on Nov. 19, 2012." with the intention of running for president."
    Why the lie? It makes absolutely no sense at all.

    Why the lie from you that getting a trademark = a definite intent to run for President? It makes no sense at all.

    Large companies like Trump register thousands of domains and trademarks proactively, doesn't mean all will be used. There is nothing at all wrong with this, and more than anything it indicates quality lawyers and other employees on the ball in an organization.

    EDIT: The linked article is also an excellent example of MSM fake news in calling the registrations of domains and trademarks by a company "secret" as if there's something shady about it. The comments to the article point this out and are hilarious.

    It's also an excellent example of throwing not very sticky **** against the wall.

    More like throwing really watery diarrhea against the wall w/o even using a hose.

    Anyone who has been alive for more than 60 years, and reads, and is the least bit aware of the world we live in, understands full well what Donald J Trump is - a reality TV host, a buffoon, a pathological liar, a branding expert, a clown, selfish beyond belief, a cheat, totally lacking any empathy whatsoever, and he is a consummate con artist.....There is no sugar coating it folks, the state of politics in the country is such that a piece of excrement like Trump could get elected president....a very sad state of affairs.

    If I could sell hats and continue to make $250 an hour ($400/hr for M&A and securities work) I'd sure do it, so maybe you are on to something.

    Trump is authentic and unique. People have become so accustomed to the slick politicians and the arrogant lefty MSM they can't comprehend when a successful 'get 'er done' straight-talking businessman takes the stage. Rather than stare at the car's driver and criticize his hair and how he speaks they need to watch the road ahead and they will be pleased where the car (country) ends up. The petty criticism of Trump only makes the criticiser look petty.
