Trump May Be Melting Down

I belonged to a gym owned by a pro wrestler, but neither the implied meaning of those terms nor your inference is clear; it's beyond subtlety.

 

More than some of the press but it is also about how things are said and how a person expresses themselves that help identify how much truth is being spoken.

 

Well they are professional wresting terms.

 

Trump is declaring a trade war on the largest trading block in the world, the EU.

If the E.U. wants to further increase their already massive tariffs and barriers on U.S. companies doing business there, we will simply apply a Tax on their Cars which freely pour into the U.S. They make it impossible for our cars (and more) to sell there. Big trade imbalance!

He even wants a trade war with our reliable friend to the north, Canada. Trump has often accused China of forcing U.S. steel and aluminum companies to fold by inundating the market with cheaper materials. But Canada is the largest exporter of steel and aluminum to the United States.

“We’re pretty consistently flabbergasted that Canada is at the top of the hit parade of trade villains in Trump’s eyes," said Douglas Porter, chief economist at the Bank of Montreal.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called the tariffs "absolutely unacceptable" and said they would cause serious disruption of markets on both sides of the border. His foreign minister, Chrystia Freeland, warns that Canada is prepared to "take responsive measures to defend its trade interests and workers," Reuters reports.

Trump's tariffs have nothing to do with China. His tariffs on steel and aluminum will hurt our friends, not China. Trade wars are not easy to win. In fact, in a trade war, like other wars, everyone loses. A trade war with the EU and Canada would devastate the American economy ... and the European economy and the Canadian economy.

The only winners would be China ... and Russia!

 

The left has been melting down in full view of the voting public for almost two years now. At this point, Trump really could shoot someone in broad daylight and the public would discount reporting of it. Cry more wolf, it's been working -so- well for you all.

 

I quit following pro wrestling 50 years ago when I became privy to SUPPOSEDLY guarded information concerning fabricated drama and stunt acting.

This scenario suggests theory 3. Trump has been part of professional wrestling and knows how they operate, as sort of a prole opera. Your comment about omigod they're fake I figured it out shows you don't understand why they're popular in an age in which everyone knows they're fake.Trump is pulling off a professional wrestling "work", with a storyline that includes massive swings of emotion by the audience, fear and betrayal, and then a swing of reproachment and then glorious victory.

It’s basically the plotline of The Fate of the Furious.

So I was using professional wrestling terms (which you could have Googled) to break down Trump's apparent strategy.

The sheer number of departures from the Trump White House has been extraordinary. It has become impossible for Trump to recruit replacements. There is a hurricane coming and Trump team members are leaving the ship before it crashes on the rocks. When a federal indictment falls on you you're almost guaranteed jail time. People demanding to "see what evidence?" are barking up the wrong tree. A Grand Jury indictment has only to rule if there is sufficient cause for a trial. Evidence is presented at trial.
