Why are leftists determined to destroy the Second Amendment and disarm honest citizens? Questions, questions, questions.

Yes, but what the average liberal does not comprehend is that they are the useful idiots being used as cover by radical leftist agitators who know precisely what they are doing.

These are not people. They are nothing more than assets being utilized by lobbyists and special interest groups that hold differing ideals than the NRA.

Apparently it is also that of the supreme court.

Supreme Court supports the right of the States to regulate guns.

thats why they keep refusing to hear ANY appeal of a State assault-weapons ban.

I think you are mistaken. McDonald created a balancing test the courts are not used to. while Federal gun bans clearly are unconstitutional since the Commerce clause nonsense is getting less and less respect from the USSC, states did have proper powers to regulate firearms use (the federal government was never PROPERLY given any such power except in extremely narrow limits such as to regulate firearms possession in federal courts etc). so the supreme court is letting state laws sit for a while until they can expand on McDonald and heller. The fourth circuit's idiocy clearly ignored Heller and I predict in the next 5 years the Supremes will clarify what powers the state STILL has after McDonald

Only when they are the ones bearing Arms for their Political purposes, in Cuba, after the Revolution, there again was strict Gun Control for all other Cuban Civilians not in the Military or Police etc....

They do not suddenly become Pro Firearms.

The NRA is not some malevolent foreign entity preying on the American people like the most powerful lobby in Washington, AIPAC.

The NRA IS the American people and there are millions of people who don't have time for puerile Pep Rallies and are not funded by distant multi-Billionaires & hypocritical movie stars with armed bodyguards.

Additionally, there are countless other people who support/donate to the NRA but are not members because they don't need a free hat but strongly support the 2nd Amendment.

The millions of Americans who comprise the NRA are politically active American people who will show up at the polls to vote regardless of the weather, inconvenience or other excuses & politicians know that.

Because the GC movements leaders are all on record promoting Australian and UK style restrictions, while simultaneously claiming they don't want to 'take all the guns.'

Its like saying 'we dont want to take ur free speech, we just want to ban criticism of government officials' or 'we're not banning private property, just private real estate.'

They want to anull the spirit of gun rights and leave a few of the torn edges as a token of compromise.

It doesnt create an atmosphere of cooperation, to say the least.

    You're mistaken.

SCOTUS will allow the States wide leverage to regulate guns, as long as they dont outright ban guns or gun ownership.

Please show me where the NRA (not members), but the NRA proper, oppose background checks? They were responsible for the NICS instant background checks.

They are for CCW permits--heck, most classes taught to people who are getting CCW permits are taught by NRA instructors. The NRA has even created courses for the purposes of getting those permits.

Yes, they do oppose assault weapons bans. There is no evidence that the last AWB stopped any crime, and there was no increase in crime when the last AWB expired. Yes, they do oppose handgun purchase limits.

They do not oppose banning felons from being able to possess guns.

states don't have the "right" to regulate guns

they have the Power to regulate guns that is consistent with their own constitution and the Second amendment as incorporated by McDonald

lets assume for the sake of argument, the supreme court holds that AR 15s are both in common use and not unusually dangerous and thus the Heller test is met

tell me what that means for states like MD and other gun banning states

Your lack of coherence is a permanent implied unspoken response.
