Watch this video of a staged situation first and then tell me what you would do in the Real Life scenario that I have included below it. In real life there’s a guy who says, “Hey you! My son is in Afghanistan with the Marine Corps and he isn’t risking his life just so guys like you can talk to a beautiful lady like that!” What would you say to him?
They are both silly situations. I very much doubt any woman would be so rude as that one was and I also doubt that there would be such a rude response if she did. In most cases where someone cuts in line someone just says, "excuse me, there's a line here" and the person who cut usually just acquiesces. I have never seen anything else happen. Movies try to entertain. Real life is seldom entertaining, that's why entertainment can so easily be sold
I agree with your basis but I disagree with you when you say it is unrealistic. I have seen similar and related situations like both of these in the US and in the UK. I am interested to know what you find "rude" in the two scenarios. There are 4 players. The Man - the Woman - the By-standers - the Father of the soldier. Who do you think is rude and at what point do you think he/she/they is being rude? Also, the idea is that you should say how you would respond to the father of the soldier. Or if you were one of the by-standers, what would you think of him?
Silly show with a jerk guy and an uppity biatch. I would ignore them both and shake my head as I thought what I just typed. The Afghanistan garbage would just increase his Jerkinistic persona.
