Because the entire campaign finance matter requires intent to be prosecuted.

He if doesn't say he paid the money to help the Trump campaign, and there are no documents showing that, then hes fine.

Sorry lefties, you've struck out again.

    Russia Russia Russia
    Comey Comey Comey
    Stormy Stormy Stormy
    Cohen Cohen Cohen

    Whats next?

Don't tell me ...Mueller is going to investigate Kanye.

If i ever need (and can afford) a top notch lawyer I am hiring that Avenatti guy. He is like a heat seeking missile.

When he 1st called Cohen about Stormy, Trump should have just given him a blank check. Think how much that silly hush payment has cost them.

After what Mueller did to Flynn no sane person would willingly talk to anyone except their defense lawyer.

He and his client know how to make the most of it for the TV camera too.

Watch the Trumpsters here bend over backwards to avoid addressing the news. They're clinging extra hard to that alternative reality that the noise bubble has built for them, even as the cracks in the facade grow and widen.

And Avenetti and Daniels are an almost Shakesperian commupance for a schuck like Trump.

It’s a bad idea to talk to prosecutors hell bent on taking you down even if you are innocent if any wrongdoing.

    Complete LIE, as usual.

His pleading the 5th has nothing whatsoever to do with the facts of the Daniels suit, which is a CIVIL CASE, not a criminal investigation.

He's just wisely avoiding giving the Witch Hunt any ammo to hang him with, like the meaningless details of a conversation from years ago=TYPICAL MUELLER "INDICTMENT".

He knows that the Obama Swamp leftovers are desperately FISHING FOR ANYTHING.

"Based on the advice of counsel, I will assert my 5th amendment rights in connection with all proceeding in this case due to the ongoing criminal investigation by the FBI and U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York,” Cohen said in a court filing Wednesday.

All this is very stressful for the President.

I hope he will find time to relax by engaging 1-2 prostitutes and being urinated on.

And even worse if you're guilty. If you are, you'll take the fifth no matter what. Because, even though taking the fifth does not imply that you're guilty in a criminal court, the fact is that it can be used as evidence in a Civil Suit. And given the lawsuit from Stormy, he much have an extremely strong motivation to plead the fifth..

What are you talking about? You make no sense at all.

Of course he pleading the 5th over the Stormy Daniels case. He is invoking his right to avoid self incrimination

Which points straight to possible criminal activity

And given Cohen's longstanding sleazy reputation, and the even more sleazy reputation of his clients, there's every reason to suspect that there is something(s) there.

Well DUH, he is under a criminal investigation of course he is going to refuse any testimony in a civil lawsuit where a hostile attorney is comping at the bit to try and trap him in a perjury.

How does this rate with the head of the Obama IRS taking the 5th over targeting conservative political groups or Hillary's IT taking the 5th over his handling of an unsecured server on which was highly classified information?

So because he exercised a constitutional right you think it certain that he's guilty of something?

Well lets see, the FBI pretty much violated attorney/client privileges and dumped people's personal lives out into the public so, yeah, good for Cohen. And suck it leftists!

When the accused invoked the Fifth Amendment to protect themselves, McCarthy said this act is "the most positive proof obtainable that the witness is Communist."

Well done libs, you are in good company.
