Anyone who has had a cat knows the score. You 0 the cat 10, they are experts at working people.

What if you forget to remember.Sounds funny but I happen to
suffer from short-term memory loss.I've adapted. It started years ago
when I couldn't remember If I took my daily Med.That is how short-term
memory operates. You have a daily regiment and taking a Med or
meds is part of that. But if you doing things on a daily basis,it's very
easy to firget something like taking a Med.Especially if one is deep in
    thought about something.
So years ago I made it a daily habit to use a calendar and write down
the time and day of the Med I took.Sometimes Meds come in a 30-day
pack that are individually boxed under tin foil.So you have to punch out
the Med in order to have it ready.

So if a cat was able to turn into a human, they would immediately
    register as a Democrat.Whereas a trusty dog { Like a German Shepherd }
would graciously ponder all options before registering as a Republican.
Knowing how kind and concerned First Lady Barbara Bush was towards
    fellow doggies.

There was a time when I could have been sued just for saying the word Wahoo! [See General Mills] :D Even places like snack food companies can be insanely secretive. I like to use my mobile to take shots of equipment, part numbers, etc. But usually I can't do it.

I did manage to get my ex wife on a stealth boat I worked on for the Israeli Commandos. Because it was Israeli but being done here, they allowed a little more latitude than normal. So the GM let me bring her onsite. But that was the only time I've ever been able to do something like that.

Today I woke up at 7 for a 9AM meeting. Checked emails and sent replies. Showered. Shaved. Dressed. Heading out the door when I noticed it is getting darker instead of lighter! WTF?!?! Okay, I've had that happen momentarily before. But I was literally heading out the door!!! LOL! I didn't even realize I had fallen asleep after I got home from work today. I assumed I fell asleep last night [tonight] on the couch. Everything seemed like a perfectly normal morning.

Yes, but again you seem to be ignoring my most basic point. Not everyone should be married. Just because people get married doesn't mean they should be married. And if people change, there is no way to know if you are still going to be compatible.

I completely reject this idea that marriages are always worth saving. For what? Why? Once I got past my Catholicism, I immediately saw the absurdity of fighting for a lost cause. We only live once. Don't waste life on noble fantasies. But I had to almost die for no reason, before I figured it out.

Sorry, animals have more sense than to dabble in politics. Cats and dogs have enough gumption to get up and work. And they stay out of yards that have fences. No, cats and dogs are strictly apolitical.

I have definitely made mistakes forgetting to add an ingredient, but that was when I started making up my own recipes. Butter, sugar, eggs, flour and a rising agent are basic ingredients. A liquid if its going to be a cake like batter for breads or muffins. Pretty much anything past that is the bonus. Cookies need room temperature butter and eggs so when you beat them it adds air or you can get flat cookies. The batter needs to be cold and the pans need to be cold.

This recipe was basically a generic cookie dough recipe. Like you could have made chocolate chip cookies with it. The added bonus this time was pecans. We don't like sweet stuff so to me these cookies were going to be way too sweet. If you add too much sugar you can also get flat cookies or too dense a batter for cakes or bread. Sugar turns into a liquid so you have to compensate with more rising agent. lol It sounds like rocket science. All the stuff I have piled in my head over the years. The pecans through me off. I should have gone with instinct. That was my first mistake but everything I did those cookies still should never have turned out flat. It annoyed me to the point I had to figure out what the hell happened. Its the baking soda. The damn baking soda I just bought. I always buy Arm and Hammer. They only had their name brand. I figured baking soda is baking soda. Im not a chemist. Not even close lol. But I took the baking soda and poured some down the sink with some vinegar and it didn't fizz anywhere close to what the Arm and Hammer does. Normally when I get halfway through a box of baking soda I dump the rest down the sinks with some vinegar because my mom always did and it fizzes like crazy. This didn't fizz anywhere near that.

If I was going to do a do over with these cookies I would cut down even more with the sugar. or add more flour, add some Amaretto or more vanilla, use better baking soda and add some baking powder. I wouldn't waste my time roasting the pecans. Id use walnuts lol. Im not big on pecans to begin with. You never know unless you try.

Try and fail isn't bad as long as you figure out why you failed and improve.
I owe that lady an apology. For saying her recipe sucked and swearing at her over it.
Now Ill move on. Thank God. lol

When I started taking care of my moms medications it was ridiculous to keep up with. I bought one of those pill dispensers with the day and time of day to keep track. It really helped. If the pill was still in the dispenser she needed to take it. Forget about it being in the pill bottles. Especially when you have several medications to take at different times of the day.

The dough is pretty basic cookie dough. I thought it was too sweet and I cut down on the sugar, but like I said Daisy, we don't normally eat super sweet stuff so maybe it was just me. Id add some amaretto with the almonds. But yeah almonds would definitely work well.

I have seen a turkey vulture town hall before. All the birds were sitting on a fence, except one that walked back and forth in front of the rest, while squawking. After a time, he jumped back on the fence and another one took his place.

I was waiting for CNN to show up to report on the debate but no one did.

Couples do not always get married. I said nothing about marriage.
But I would be happy to share my thoughts on marriage - if you beg me. ;-)

CZOKvUlVAAAAyQI.jpg Suffice it to say we've all had our own experiences with love and loss. Nobody ever 'figures it out' -- we're all flying by the seat of our pants. Whatever works for you and/or a partner is exactly what you need to do.

Ahahaha you confused me for a second. I didn't buy anything.
I had 2 cups of pecans and some free time. I thought, what would Donna Reed do with 2 cups of pecans and some time on her hands? Bake some cookies.

Well, whether a committed relationship or marriage, what I take away from my life is that you don't want to waste the time you have. But many of us were raised to believe marriage should be forever. Hit a nerve? Yes. When I think about the cost of my misguided loyalty, I still want to get sick. But then I think about who is coming over on Saturday and everything seems wonderful.

I am always interested in reading other people's perspectives on relationships. I've made an informal study of relationships and human sexuality for over six years now; and you might say that was with a hands-on approach. :D

One of the biggest lesson I've learned: Men are often more romantic than women. We're the ones who get starry eyed. Women have a far more pragmatic view of relationships.

The other thing is that men who see escorts and sbs often just want to be loved. It's the truth! Ask any escort. Obviously we want sex, but most men want their escorts or sbs to genuinely care about them. I've watched men go through the cycle of falling in love with escorts quite a few times now. I knew one guy who swore every escort he saw really loved him.

Well this is @Smartmouthwoman 's bar and grille so we should talk about food too.

I cook-up something delicious every day, usually at night when I come home from work at 4AM. Usually soup. Sometimes spaghetti sauce. All homemade.
