Boko Haram Leader Abubakar Shekau announced a new caliphate in areas the terror group controls in north-eastern Nigeria.

Abubakar Shekau made the announcement in late August and promised to extend their caliphate in the region.

    The BBC reported:

Nigeria’s militant Islamist group Boko Haram has seized the key north-eastern town of Bama after fierce fighting with government forces, residents say.

Thousands of civilians have fled the town, along with soldiers, they added.

The military has not yet officially commented on the claim that it has lost control of Bama, the second biggest town in Borno state.

Last month, Boko Haram said it had established an Islamic state in areas it controls in north-eastern Nigeria.

It would be the biggest town under Boko Haram control.

Residents told BBC Hausa that Boko Haram captured Bama after heavy fighting on Sunday and Monday.

Hmm..., while Obama faces unrest in the Ukraine, a Caliphate formed in Syria/Iraq by al Qaeda/ISIL along with unrest in Libya, now Boko-Haram is also raising it's ugly head. Will he also manage this too?

What gun control are you discussing in Africa? Is it the ability to spray and prey as Boko Haram does? Or the fact these terrorists like using machetes to lop off arms, legs and heads. Then there's the laws in South Africa that deny Afrikaners the right to self protection while the new president tacitly approves of the genocide of whites and the confiscation of the land owned by Afrikaners. Is that what you are referring to?
