Seriously, how would muslims threaten the constitution? Only if they were the majority in this nation by a huge margin could they ever threaten the constitution and while that may happen eventually in europe, unless the dems hold power for the next 50 years, it will not happen here. I have little doubt than most muslims, would want sharia law to be the law of the land. But that isn't gonna happen and to be fearful of this is just nonsense. The greatest risk we have in regards to the constitution are our two political parties. Not muslims. Not blacks, nor hispanics. And certainly not whites unless they are democrats. ha ha.
At first glance, I would say this would be great. Maybe the repubs are working though some of their issues.

I don't think the outcome is predictable. But the effort is worthy. Open dialogue is always preferable to avoidance in politics. Shariah is not a threat. Yet. But it is getting there, albeit slowly. Better to start addressing it now than wait til its a boil-over issue.

The realities of demographics will catch up with the party sooner then later. They will either adapt or a new party will take their place. Who knows maybe the libertarians will with their inclusive message.
