Good make sure to put that down in your little journal.

I don't care what you believe.

I do like that you admit you can't figure out how to use Google though. That gave me a good laugh.

Then you must have been laughing at your own abysmal lack of reading comprehension since I did not say anything of the kind.

Given what you have and haven't posted it isn't difficult to figure out what you believe either.

I think you are just scared of men explaining things. ;)

She is a Left Wing Liberal, so by definition, she believes in "social and political equality". So, I do not really know what you are talking about here.

And I don’t understand why men get upset when I tell them exactly what it feels like to be kicked in the balls .
Interesting that your Mom believes in social and political equality but yet doesn’t believe in feminism which is social and political equality. But then again I’m not talking to your mom because I’m sure she and I would probably have more of an understanding

Hmmm. You do that often? Interesting. Is it some sort of obscure fetish of yours or did you endure some messed up childhood trauma? Or perhaps you do know how it feels to be kicked in the balls, but it still doesn't explain why you would feel the urge to go and tell men about it. Very interesting indeed.

Your definition of 'Feminism' is skewed and simplistic.

Oh my...the point went right over your head. I keep forgetting Sarcasm is a very high form of humor. I’ll scale it down. White men tend to tell what women and blacks should feel and think when they have no way of knowing, ,.its called mansplaining...the same way I don’t know what it’s like getting kicked in the balls. Get in now.?

No, I have no idea what you are talking about. Your vocabulary is really alien to me. "Mansplaining", what on Earth is that? And what do you mean "White men tend to tell what women and blacks should feel and think when they have no way of knowing"? Knowing what? Explaining what to whom? Which White men? Is "mansplaining" about not knowing how it feels to be kicked in the balls? What? When? How? So many questions.

I am so confused right now.

Perhaps I can simplify. Renee has extrapolated her own experiences and placed them on Caucasian males in a generalized statement meant to degrade the gender and race for some reason. That you or I do not fit into the cubicle created is not relevant to her opinion.

I see....so "Mansplaining" can be defined as the presentation of observed data in concise wording that does not cater to emotional delicacy?

Mansplaining is, at its core, a very specific thing. It's what occurs when a man talks condescendingly to someone (especially a woman) about something he has incomplete knowledge of, with the mistaken assumption that he knows more about it than the person he's talking to does.
I suggest you read Rebecca solnit’s essays

So...in essence "Mansplaining" is expressing opinion when male to overly sensitive Females? I take it you would like me to read "Men Explain Things To Me" or subscribe to Harpers but, my familiarity with feminism is sufficient in my opinion without being clouded by the more rabid contingent.

You have FAILED to substantiate YOUR imaginary "study".

That there are other studies out there is not being disputed. Only that they do NOT support the bovine excrement that YOUR alleged "study" claims.

Webster is not the omnipoptent God you are trying to make it appear as. It is just a dictionary and dictionaries focus on defining words. Feminism is not just a basic word like "butter", but a name of an ideology with a complex worldview that cannot be summarised with only a sentence. The connotations are far deeper than that. By your definition, even Donald Trump is a Feminist and I have a hard time believing you would define him as such.

So your definition of feminism is ......??? (It is still not a political party nor a club where all the members think exactly alike )

People really don't understand or want to accept that the word 'feminist' has a simple, direct meaning--that of someone who believes in equal rights for women and men. That's all it means. I don't see how that term applies to Trump as equal rights means that neither women or men should be assaulted, and clearly Trump believes it is okay to assault women. However, connotations or interpretations or attitudes regarding what the word means are not literal meanings. The dictionary only deals with literal meanings. Bigots like to believe the word means something it doesn't. That's the problem: bigotry.

National Socialism and Fascism also have very direct and simple meanings, however, these are not enough to define the ideologies.

And this is, somehow, a gendered thing?
