Thanks. I knew it didn't sound like truman, but yes I could see Ike saying that although I wonder if it is indeed on public record. For Ike was a proponent for desegregation. And while he has been moved to the side, he IMO did not deserve that.

I did find old public record that said Ike was against desegregation of our military as a GOP nominee for president but clearly he did a 180 on it, and signed an E.O. to that effect later on. So Ike's actions with this and the federalizing of the NG in arkansas to desegregate has relevance, IMO.

Considering I don't watch Fox news and this is the first time I remember hearing about her, I'm going by the pictures I saw of her in the various news accounts.

 

So you only look at the pictures! Got to be hard to accomplish when looking at the news.

 

Roseanne is annoying but she has made all of us laugh out loud. I never heard Samantha Bee say anything that wasn't an unfunny political insult disguised as comedy.

 

Joan Rivers was hilarious, taking no prisoners, and usually apolitical.

 

What Roseanne said was racist. What Bee said wasn't.
