Why would they need to fire more ICBM’s if they are done testing them?

Nice try, but like most things, the devil is in the details. I think it would be helpful to attempt to put the extreme bias aside and consider what was put in black and white.

but everybody can now feel much safer than the day I took office. There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea.

NK has been threatening it's adversaries with it's new found Nuke capabilities, and it's ever improving delivery system.

As Obama was reported to have said to Trump when taking office, NK will be an immediate problem to deal with, or words to that effect.

So, with nothing but threats, counter threats, warnings, enhanced diligence, air raid drills in threatened regions going on, people were not feeling too safe when Trump took office.

Now that the two leaders have had this historic face to face meeting, and a path to something more positive has been identified, is that same level of fear warranted? Is it not unreasonable for the President to say this threat to safety people had when he took office is no longer there?

But going against reality and logic, you want to suggest the President was saying North Korea no longer has nukes, so problem solved.

That's ridiculous and reveals the greatest challenge the left has, remaining credible while continuing with the continuous din coming from attacks on every utterance from the President. Talk about defining TDS.

Impossible. The left has cornered the market on looking ridiculous. No room for anyone else.

No because you don't recall the 3 other times NK said they would disarm do you? No celebration until there's something definitive to celebrate otherwise we are just repeating history currently.

They haven't test fired any missiles since last December. All the rest of it still has to be worked out. Would you rather not try and make peace?

They haven’t launched any more missiles because their last several were successful tests. They have functioning long range rockets.

Please name the number of times before, when the President of the United States met face to face with the leader of NK.

When did Un say N.K. would disarm? Who are you kidding - you'd never celebrate anything Trump accomplishes.

I see all of you enjoyed the show. IFFFFFF Un is giving up his weapons progresssssss, it is due to his COLLAPSED testing facility. It is radioactive.
Trump and his breezy I have been training for this my whole life, KNEW ahead of time, the outcome. This is all a show. And Trump is giving Un Everything, and giving up everything.

As another has said, Un has ALREADY solidified those relationships with Russia and China. What he NEEDED, was a DEAL with the US, not to GHADAFFI depose him. Once he obtained that, it ties our hands, when they become a slingshot for the Chinese and Russians. And leave us out in the cold.

These events do NOT portend well for us. Trump will ruin readiness as well.

The DEAL Trump just made, seals us into a POST Bay of Pigs posture. Where we were BOUND not to assassinate Castro.

Now, as long as Un doesn't go nukular in large, we cant invade. So, the PNAC statement, where we wont allow others to advance in stature, to dominate us, will be NULLIFIED.

You see, dethroning a superpower, is tricky business. Doing it without bloodshed, is paramount. We got LUCKY with the Soviet Union. Is there a design for our demise? Where China and Russia become dominant leaders, and we pay our own way?

The isolationist and breezy contacts with foreign leaders, will isolate us, till we are irrelevant, in stages. This may be designed to let us down easy, instead of using our nukes, to stop our government from being made UNpreeminent. IF China and Russia gain N Korea, and possibly ANNEX defacto S Korea, they will thrust forward to eclipse us.

And we will watch, without unleashing a single megaton. Putin and Ze, seeing the fecklessness of our leader, and his cowboy way loner approach, without any legal council, will be used to box us in.

We will pay for having this erratic unpredictable buffoon for DECADES, if not longer.

Enjoy the show. It is the end of western civilization.

They had no need to test them at all. See, after Obama / Clinton aided the Ukrainian insurgency depose Yanukovych, Ukraine began supplying tested and true ICBM components to Kim. Rocket engines, and guidance systems most notably. So Kim could have just confined himself to underground testing. The ICBM tests were part of Kims Pacific terror campaign. He wanted to break the US Pacific alliance. He underestimated Trumps resolve, and the limits of his forbearance.

Fair enough, so you would have praised him for meeting Kim then right?

If he had he would have bowed and given Kim a billion dollars and then Hillary would sell him our uranium, after Un made a donation to the Clinton Crime Family Fund. BTW where did N.K. get the money to make the nukes?

    Really?

You think posting pictures of former Presidents meeting after they left office is the same thing?

    Wow. What a fail.

    That should be embarrassing.

I am constantly amazed at how gullibility overwhelms rational, analytical thought every time a Lefty opens their mouth.

    Think (hopefully) about these points:
Does NK actually have nuclear weapons? The only evidence we have are big bangs recorded on seismographs which could have been just high explosives. However, let's allow that they have nukes for now.

Have you ever noticed that their missiles never hit a target? They just go higher and farther and splash into the ocean.

Even if they have nukes, are they small enough to be useful on a missile? Could they stand the shock of the ride and reentry? Those cute things that Kim is photographed next to could be dummies.

Why would a powerful dictator, who was totally in command and sitting on top of the world, suddenly want to talk to the West about joining the civilized World? Consider the obvious fact that NK has no visible means of support. So, how do they support a million man military? China! Now, notice that Kim wants to talk right after Trump wants to impose heavy tariffs on China. MAYBE China is getting tired of the cost of NK and the tariffs will put a bigger crimp on their lifestyle.

    Observe! Think!

    I noticed, but not Trump.

That's why he's exaggerating the threat, doing the hard thing to Kim by pointing his nuclear button.

Make Americans believe that NK is an imminent threat to their security.

He can then make everyone believe that he is the great protector.

It's a show to impress the Trumpists.

    And it works.

What Trump wants, much more than peace, is to be famous.

To go down in history as one who has found common ground with one of the worst dictators on the planet.

It’s going to take a lot more for Kim to give up his nukes. More than what this summit, if anything, accomplished.

Who knew the right-wingers suddenly actually believe Kim Jong-un? I don't know, maybe this has heft to it since you basically have two puppets (Jong-un: Putin and China, Trump: Putin and China). Do you think it'll last longer than the agreements made in 2007, 2005 and 1994?
