I'm all for this IF there is a Constitutional Amendment limited application of the Constitution, all of our laws and government resources and all government funded facilities and ending birthright citizenship simply for being born here and these all apply only to native born or naturalized citizens and ban those coming into the nation illegally from ever applying for or being granted citizenship.

NO access to medical care funded by any government level, no education, no right to any protections of the US Constitution, no right to work this could be restricted to citizens and naturalized citizens only and crack down on employers etc.

You do this we wouldn't need an ICE!

There are about 20,000 ICE agents. So, we are going to fire all of them and create a whole new organization. How long before we get a whole new group up and running? Optimistically five years by the time you recruit and train them. In the meantime, we get overrun.

If they need a reorganization or name change or both. Fine.

 

I beg to differ. It is the new "litmus test" the left is going to apply to every Democrat who runs for election or reelection.

In effect, it is advocating for open borders. If a person can sneak in, and there is no ICE, they can stay in forever.

In all the hysteria over ICE in the past few weeks, I haven't heard one single allegation that ICE is breaking the law. Balto, when you don't like the law, you work to change the law. You don't blame law enforcement.

Abolishment of ICE can be classified in any way possible, even as a non-partisan issue. But the vast majority are dead set against it and that will come out in the vote.

 

First off, my understanding is it isn't ICE doing the separating. ICE is a law enforcement agency. They only hook 'em, they don't book 'em. Secondly, even if they were, how is this any different than separating families who steal cars?

Seek asylum through the legal means and you won't have a problem.

I've been to Israel when they were having an uptick of terrorists attacks if that counts.

Not unless they have reasonable suspicion in the course of their duties.

Profiling and stereotyping are two wonderful things that increase efficiency in nature and in human beings discriminating about who they let into their lives, and in completing their jobs and staying employed.

You don't consider loaning money to someone with no credit or bad credit. You leave them to their own problems and do not get involved.

You don't give a spare room to somebody who just got out of prison for a violent crime because you already know they are rotten to the core and are likely to harm you.

Failure breeds failure in human beings and that's just too damn bad; you got to worry about solving your own problems and staying safe.

You keep your nose clean and your head above water, play by the rules, and beyond that you owe the world nothing.

For charity give to the Salvation Army, the Red Cross, St. Vincent de Paul Society, etc. Give sacrificially out of your own pocket.
