Due to all the protest vitriol that's been happening, shouldn't anti-bullying laws be enforced?

Due to so much hatred and vitriol coming from protesters particularly from Antifa and others funded by George Soros and the DNC...before someone gets hurt or a civil war breaks out, shouldn't better BULLYING laws be implemented?

No one should have to worry about their families and properties being HARASSED by MOBS, not protesters, but MOBS aggressively standing outside their homes and at businesses confronting people head on using such hateful tactics many that appear physically threatening.

There should be laws stating protesting can only be done in commercial public places and cannot be face to face and done in a threatening manner anymore. March down the street in front of the capital or whatever, but not block and threaten individuals while they are out with family or even at their work places. Everyone has a right to free speech but this goes way beyond that.

You don't expect liberals/democrats to follow their own rules do you?

Sorry you will have to link to the MOBS because I cannot see them here. Would these anti bullying laws also apply to right wing protesters?

Eh... At this point I say let it ride. Lets see where this plays out. We are almost through July and it hasn't been a "hot" summer yet. I want to see how this situation plays out.

Honestly, if you are a Republican I would advise just ignoring this and letting it happen.

These people are the SJW's that everyone absolutely HATES right now.

The more videos like this come out, the less people will vote for Democrats in the coming elections.

Would you be for jailing anyone who bullies someone out of their free speech? Be it Trump or anyone else?

Bullying means something different to everyone. It’s like passing a law against being mean. How do you define such a nebulous concept in a law?

Yeah I want this toned down. I really don't think this benefits the nation at all. I'm really concerned how Americans are turning against each other which the movement behind all this is hoping for. A nation divided is in trouble. The media is being paid highly to push all this liberal hateful rhetoric which is obvious that's stirring the masses to near psychotic hysteria. The only question remaining is to what end? Civil war?

They should have rights to protest and free speech, that law just needs to be tweaked. It should only be allowed in certain public areas ...not neighborhoods and no one should be marching following people around getting in their face viciously like they did to Pam Bondi where 3 men surrounded her and got within just two inches of her face. Tried to taunt her date into a fight.

And look how Antifa acts. They show up wearing masks knowing they are going to fight and probably break laws.

Notice that Antifa only acts up in gun free zones.

By not allowing these mobs to harass people evening hours while they're out with their families on the town. Most of these happenings were at restaurants. Protesting should be defined. No one should get within so many feet of someone for one thing. They should be done within certain hours only. And just because someone has the right to free speech it doesn't give them the right to follow someone around like they did to Mitch McConnell or get in their face in such a threatening way like they did to Pam Bondi. Restrictions need to be set.

Arrests for verbal assault would provide the better approach. Also, I'd be working on trespass, disturbing the peace, and any other method to deal with these idiots.

The New Democratic Party has issued orders that cross the line.

Can't imagine what they thought everyday Americans would think about such historically associative actions.

For sure, this is for all sides. We need to get back to just being Americans that respect each other and not hateful thugs ready to fight and kill one another...where in the hell did this all come from? It really does seem like something was put in our water or something.

You mean Americans have no right to speak to their fellow citizens? You want them silenced?

Speak to their fellow citizens, hell yes no issue. Using speech to harass and intimidate is the issue.

There is a difference between an organized general protest, and harassing and bullying individuals. Having said that, I tend to agree with @ocean515 and I think some of this could be discouraged with more arrests for things like verbal assault, trespassing, etc.

I'm all for free speech, but we can't just go around screaming at each other and terrorizing each other.

If we are going to enforce anti bullying laws we will need to arrest DJT.

Enforced respect is not respect at all. The only thing you will accomplish is infuriating people by making them feel like their freedom to speak is being restricted even more than it already is.

People are acting like our elected officials and their appointees deserve our respect no matter what, and that we should slink around in the shadows and never dare to approach them lest we infringe upon thier perfect lives with our horrible averageness. They are supposed to be servants of the people but you are not only treating them like they are our elite masters but now you want to pass laws protecting them from having to ever interact with the riffraff (thats you and me). If you and I are in public and you wish to say something to me you can do so, regardless of whether or not it makes me feel bad. Why should it be different for people in power, especially those who are supposed to actually be our ****ing servants?

The elites are pooh poohing the horrifying experience of having to encounter the serfs and their worthless opinions in public, and you're sitting there trying to pass laws to make sure it cant ever happen again.
