Due to all the protest vitriol that's been happening, shouldn't anti-bullying laws be enforced?

Man. You look at the last few replies. Doesnt look like a reason to change anything with the "bullying" laws. Seems we all think what we all are.

 

Serious question. Do you know people that considers themselves i guess, people on the left, that regularly shoot? Not carry. But shoot? Or even carry?

 

Many people here consider me a leftist and I own a rifle and a handgun. I don't carry but I know a few that does. The point is though, righties consider "thugs" to be leftists. I'm quite sure many of them carry.

 

Well, you'd hope they would not be rude, but Trump has changed the game with his name calling, belligerence and mocking everyone from women to the retarded and handicapped.

 

Libs are never armed.

They'll call 911, but I have freedom of speech, just like the lib zealots we've seen in the news going after conservatives.

Oh I agree, but human nature often prevails.. Trump is so vulgar and belligerent he has set the tone of public discussion.

 

To be fair, he hasn't helped, and yet we were already so partisan and so vulgar and this has been the case for years. On both sides. I read enough vulgarities about obama and saw it play out, that one has to say both sides share in the guilt here.

Obama did little to decrease the vulgarity coming from the democratic side. But one needs to actually be astute and pay attention, without partisanship fogging up your mirrors.

Trump is a product of his culture, and he hasn't been in politics long enough in order to be a fake persona. He reflects america, even the democratic side, and yet they will never admit it. I listened to the same kind of stuff coming from the democratic base for years, the vulgarities, the lack of good manners, the crude and rude verbiage. But the guilty never seem to notice their own guilt, do they? Human nature? Of course. We are a dastardly species, no doubt about it. And partisan politics brings out the worse in us. Especially when so many lose their moral compasses.

 

Violence is not speech

 

And the anti-KLAN Laws against masked street protesters. And, if our AG's want to remain on the public payroll, they need to be combing the videos after acts of violence for chargeable felonies, empanelling Grand Juries and bringing indictments.

 

The problem is that the police had had ample opportunity to 'nip it in the bud' but instead just stood by watched the riots taking place. Until the police act these riots will naturally escalate and greater harm will be done.

Leftists emboldened by police inaction will likely be the first to come to harm in these confrontations.

 

Sure, try to tell that to the Universities and College campuses. They violently block free speech there but encourage it at families quietly dining out.

 

Seems like another goofy foreigner thinking this is a 'free speech' issue.

When you talk about "thugs" are we talking inner city gangs or antifa, not that there is a difference? But we need to determine which are democrats and which are leftists.
