BART won't release surveillance videos of crimes because it would show blacks commit too many of them. When a government agency comes out and essentially says blacks commit a lot of crimes, then why would anyone suspect that blacks commit a lot of crimes?

You want to do all of these "what if" scenarios, use crime stats, and claim "but the homeowners didn't know he could legally walk around their house" to cast doubt on him. One of your fellow righties claimed that people use disguises or whatever to invade homes all the time. He even claimed that there was no fire truck present (really?).

Then you can claim "well I didn't actually call him a criminal". Who do you think you're fooling?

On the other hand I can easily see how a homeowner in the pricey hills of Oakland/Berkeley might get panicky if someone felt a member of the black underclass in Oakland (it's a hugely crime ridden city) was planning a home invasion robbery.
