It's tough when you guys on the Left seem to try to "laugh off" the idea that has been called "The Deep State".

I definitely don't believe in the scope of it being a full blown conspiracy theory, but "The Deep State" is something that is based in quite a bit of facts and even moderates and Independents agree to a point. It is absolutely crystal clear obvious that the majority of government agencies absolutely HATE Trump and seem to also basically hate Conservatives.

It is not hard to believe that the idea of "stacking" that we have seen reach radical levels in the government field of education, has been also applied to a lot of the Federal Government. The education field has gotten to the point of pure Fascism and flat out lies. We still have all of these women's programs even though women make up the majority of almost every field in school. You have education "experts" claiming the glory of it all and how they want to expand the ideas into government.

Then when we have stories about people like Comie and Strzok that are sending text messages with disparaging comments towards Republicans and we have local judges basically helping the DNC themselves, it adds speculation and motive to the idea.

The last bit about it is simply what the two parties stand for in themselves.

The Democratic Party constantly preaches the "good" of government and builds new agencies constantly. You don't think they stack it with their party?

Last but not least, you have government agencies that openly plan with the DNC alongside the media. This goes on to the point of embarrassing and hindsite looking idiocracies like the "Libya Video Excuse" that was heavily embarrassing to both the MSM and the government.

It really is not something to just brush aside or laugh at, a growing percentage of the population believes it to be true to at least some point and the way we are seeing things go down with Trump is not helping.

I did. And you ignored my post that there is another important player in this and that is the media.

Whoever thinks there isn't a 'Deep State' in our intel agencies is badly mistaken.

Who said the "deep state" are all powerful? Just wait until their pensions become more important than political ideology. Then you'll see what little cockroaches they really are. :roflol:

the fact that someone uses the term deep state tells me they know nothing about modern administrative states.

Call it whatever you want to call it. When members of the FBI let a democrat off the hook for her crimes, then turn around and attempt to remove her opponent from office, that meets the definition of either "deep state" or "corrupt bureaucrats."

By definition the "deep state" is; "a body of people, typically influential members of government agencies or the military, believed to be involved in the secret manipulation or control of government policy."

I have NO DOUBT it would still be a secret if Clinton was elected in 2016.

But they don't have the means- the movement here is sort of a sub-current trying to become a dominant one. Obviously, they fully expected Hillary would win; there was a massive misjudgement, and underestimation of Trump's appeal.

    ho-hum...

I'm sure it does. I'm sure it does...

I recently had a bit of a one-sided debate with a family member who knows I'm conservative, and he was just like you. Had absolutely NOTHING in terms of cogent or rational arguments, but he sure the hell was convinced that I'm wrong and he's right.

It's like you're tired of losing argument after argument after argument after argument, so you just don't even try anymore.

You know what they call that particular frame of mind? It's called bigoted.

I have a doctorate in public administration. If you want to discuss actual administrative issues let me know.

I am tried or arguing with people who make broad statements based on near total ignorance of what they are talking about.

For example the US federal government is far smaller as percent of the population, and far weaker in terms of its influence than it was in 1970. The time the US state was at its most powerful, getting away with abuses that it never could now was in the 50's and 60's - the Cold War era.

You sir are totally wrong there. Russia is still pretty much socialist and I hate socialism with a passion. It takes from the workers and give to the shirkers. It is majority theft.

BTW what if Putin says hell yes Hillary conspired with us to sell us uranium, and we gave her and Bill millions. Will you support a charge of treason against Hillary?????????????

    I'm sure you are.

and you also don't have an argument. So much for whatever you thought your doctorate is worth. That might come in handy the next time you're reaching for the charmin and come up with an empty spool.

Again if you want to discuss actual administrative issues let me know.

But if you did you would not be throwing around silly terms like the deep state. The US administrative system if far closer to collapse than the power that such people believe it has. It can't do basic things like keep the transportation grid going or support education because of such paranoia.

And-------------------------------------we could cut the Fed employees by at least 25%, save all that money, and no one would notice they are gone. BTW there is nearly 22,000,000 Fed employees. How about dropping it to 15,000,000 and never allowing it to go above that number?

And of course Trump will take the word of his KGB handler over the evidence presented to him by the US intelligence committees just like any good traitor to America would.

Who are you trying to convince? The American PEOPLE, or yourself?

Look at the size of government at the time of the Second Industrial Revolution. Morgan helped bail out the gov so it wouldn't default. Now days, all the billionaires couldn't put humpty-government back together again, but Trump has the power of the people behind him and that scares the crap out of them.

BTW the average employment package of a Fed employee is $119,000!!!!!!!!!!!! Multiply that by 22,000,000 and see what they are costing the American taxpayers. It come out to approx 2.6 TRILLION DOLLARS.

That people is a little over HALF of the annual Fed budget!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is insane.

Compare increases in total compensation of federal employees to increases in the same for the private sector. In the state's its likely worse. For that matter look at salary surveys that compare public to private compensation for similar jobs.

Or go look up operations Counterintellpro or Chaos. That was the true deep state. After 40 years of decline the federal government is weaker than it has been since the thirties.

The calculations you are making are not taking into account the massive debt of $20+ TRILLION DOLLARS that stems from government spending. That's political malpractice.

The massive debt is not driven by the deep state. Little of it goes to the state. It goes to transfer payments, funding the military, debt repayment and the like. Much of it btw to business and elites.

Spoken like a believer of the lying liberal media. After the 2018 election throws more dems out of office, will you finally ask yourself, how many elections do dems have to lose SINCE 2010 before they finally realize that what they've been doing is WHY they keep losing elections?

Obamacare was introduced in 2010. Do I have to spell it out further?
