It may be illegal for the state to discriminate. It may be illegal for land developers or for anyone who is in the "business" of renting property to discriminate.

A private land owner can pick and choose who they sell or rent to using any criteria their heart desires...until they decide to go into business doing it.

I mean, that Democracy is fantastic but that few governments actually implement it in their respective nations. I've said for years that Israel will eventually face a choice, given it's growing non-Jewish population: to be a democracy or to be a Jewish state.

I understand both goals, and don't pretend it's an easy choice. But I hope they eventually land on the side of democracy.

Israel needs to face the same sanctions and unified international pressure as South Africa was subject to to end it's Apartheid system.

Do you have numbers on the Jewish population in the entire ME in 1918? The Jewish population of Palestine was about the same as greater Fairbanks, Alaska is today.
