You resemble this remark in bold. First two words of your post have never been applied to any thing you spout.........

Leaving yourself with only a post like this indicates weak debate ability.

I'm sorry but that response does not make any sense what so ever. Because of this, and other responses you have made, I now require you to fax me a copy of your Mensa membership card (unexpired) and three valid ID's, before I will engage you in a conversation. My time is precious.

On the bright side, you know the people who claim this are the ones hurting inside the most. It reminds me of the dead murdering gang bangers mommies saying he was a goor goot boy. Sorry mommies you can cry but dont tell us obamas economy was a goot goot boy. It wasnt.

    Ok

I think we have to wait and compare annual JDP to see how trump is doing

And I think he will surpass pobam in time because trump is focusing on growth while obaba the economic defeatest was dedicated to managing decline

    Trump wants more jobs

Obama wanted extended unemployment benefits and reeducation

You're confusing the annual report with the quarter report, a 3% quarter report is actually quite common. We had a 5.2% quarter report back in the 3rd QTR of 2014, so obviously they weren't saying that a 3% quarter report is not achievable

These are our quarter reports from 2007 to 2015, as you can see we have achieved 3% quarters several times (but have been unable to achieve a 3% annual report since 2005). So to clarify, those reports were saying that a 3% annual growth could not be achieved

No. I'm not confusing anything. I know the difference between a quarterly report and a annual rate. Just because I point out that the left wing media was calling Trump an economic illiterate for saying he could achieve an annual GDP growth rate over 3% shows their economic illiteracy and bias, does not mean I don't know the difference.

Today's economy is globalized, and beyond the control of a single man.

Not only ours but pretty much everyone's. These are good economic times, so every actual world leader looks like an economy genius (which was kind of my point). The economy is out of our leaders' hands, especially since deals like NAFTA.

China have a bigger effect on economy than you do, and yet even them can't be considered as having control over the world's economy. There's a world outside your navel.

I thought all you you guys played for NY. In which city do the ******s play?

You've got to get that thin epiderm checked, IMMHO. As soon as you'll get out of the US (if you ever do), you might be surprised to realize that the whole world calls you "Yankees".

GDP is just a parcel of the whole economic picture. There's many, many other factors. The economy looked great in the Reagan years yet it was the time in which the US got from a provider to a borrower.

You responded to my original post. Why not re-read it carefully for the context of the post you just responded to?

Given the amount of extra debt he's running up, he better.

Remember when conservatives pretended they cared about the debt?

I personally would be happy to balance the budget

But there seems to be no majority for it

Republicans have a majority. But they only pretend they care about deficits and the debt when there is a "D" in the White House.

There are many republicans who are fake budget balancers

So I understand your anger at them on that issue

The only chance to "balance" the budget is to attack non-discretionary spending. No party has the guts to do that.

As a result, the only way to lower deficits is to expand the tax base and get more people paying income and other types of taxes, not just getting more from some people via income and other types of taxes.

I would cut all spending across the board except SS and Medicare 1% a year till the budget was balanced
