Here is an American who has been living in Tajikstan for almost a decade now.

"I am from the U.S. and have lived in Tajikistan for eight years. Until last week, the U.S. Department of State classified Tajikistan as a Level 1 security risk country. There are very few places in Western Europe that even qualify as Level 1, because this is the lowest-risk classification, reserved for countries with no history of terrorism. In addition, crime is low and foreigners hold a respected position in society, which is more than can be said of many “safe” travel destinations."

Are you flip flopping? Can you make your point clear?

Do you want Syria to use chemical weapons?

Many of the Syrian rebels are radical jihadi Islamists who are murdering Christians. Why would we ever fight with them?

We should stay the hell out of Syria, the "rebels" are just as bad as the current regime. WHAT WILL WE GET FOR OUR LIVES AND $ BILLIONS?ZERO

The fundamentals are the pillars of Islam: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Pillars_of_Islam
There's nothing wrong with that. It's always the believers who make a religion beautiful or disgusting.

    Was the question too difficult?

Do you want Syria to use chemical weapons?

We could say the same about you. You try and label the whole story fake news and call the title, "vague".... Hilarious.

    Because:

A young American couple who took a year-long bike trip around the world, believing that evil was a make-believe concept, took a fatal route in Tajikistan near the Afghan border, where alleged ISIS terrorists stabbed them to death.

Jay Austin and Lauren Geoghegan, 29, quit their jobs last year in order to make their trip. Austin was a vegan who worked for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; Geoghegan, a vegetarian who worked in the Georgetown University admissions office.

These 2 were literally begging to get stabbed and murdered by terrorists. Acapulco is a tourist town. Would you go hang out at night and have tacos out on town there? Would you go climb mountains in Iran or Iraq?

**** them. Why should anyone have any sympathy for morons like that? It amazes me how ****ing stupid and to what lengths people will go to rationalize their beliefs no matter how much evidence to the contrary is in front of them. I bet while they were being stabbed they were blaming Trump for the attack. ****ing idiots.

Why are the cultists so eager to fight in Syria? I distinctly remember Trump talking about all the money being wasted in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Is it risky flirting around the borders of one of the most dangerous nations on earth?
You should ask the naive travelers but of course, they are gone.

    Oh man that was funny.

That you don't understand why makes it even more funny.

We could put a giant "Terrorism Free Zone" in geosynchronous orbit over the country maybe.

No. Just stupid liberals that tried to prove a point that ISIS isn't as bad as people thought and that they would show the world how humanity really works.

No, just typical leftists who thought their self-created reality was stronger than actual reality.

I'm loving you posting in this thread though, please continue.

Tajikstan was a level 1 risk. Equal to almost no terrorism incidents so try again.

I am stating they were stupid for believing that "evil is make believe" and that they would bike in a country with ISIS terrorist territory. Some people deserve what they get. Like they say: "Bad things don't happen to you because you're unlucky, they happen to you because you're stupid."
Yet there were areas that were terrorist controlled and they were near or in them. Risk 1? Maybe the treat was a little more real.

What self created reality that they we should live in fear? You and this entire thread from the start suggested they rode through a hostile area flaunting no one is evil and died as a result which is completely fake news PALTERING.

Wrong again, not an ISIS controlled territory. Jesus Christ. It's getting old having to correct your wrong information constantly. Please keep up with the facts. Even the article revised it saying that the area they were in was not ISIS controlled

Maybe you could lead some tours mapping out the safe areas.

If ISIS incurs you can get very cross with them.

Maybe you can follow simple statements?

Why would the OP article change the fact that it was not ISIS controlled

Not at all. Liberals should travel heavily through the ME demanding human rights and showing them how they should be living.
