    Once upon a time from lands unknown flew a birdie in my window singing a familiar tone. I knew it when I heard it, with my head just slightly swaying and lyrics to a rhyme that I barely remember saying. It's like a sweet recall of the days I once knew. A treasure from long ago that comes once again anew. Oh yes, it's certainly happening, so let it be known that I've returned to a nest I have previously flown. Some here will surely remember, and many just won't know where I came from, where I'm going; who I knew, who I know.

    It might be you.

    I have always been fascinated by this - that they color or mark the building for events & such. Pretty cool thing!
    This is pretty much the only "cool thing" up here in this area.

    A totally non political observation while listening to the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing.

    The guy eats pasta with ketchup.
    Im open minded and all but I keep thinking.... this guys wife must be a gravy burner. He goes for the ketchup bottle.


    It would have taken every lesson I learned (so far) in how to be demure, to not stand up in the back row of that hearing and yell, "Pasta with ketchup, shame, shame, shame."

    For lunch:

    - warmed up leftover tilapia fish with ramen noodle and vegie soup

    - white wine to wash it down with.

    Fish = white wine

    Meat = red wine

    Ladies = pink wine or pink champagne
