And if the move is proved to be politically motivated and not based in medical fact then all conspirators need to hang.

Fine? I don't really care either way. They did take an oath to uphold the constitution. Let's see who the conspirators are. do they have the spine to come forward, or do they lack the courage of their convictions?

The corruptible malcontents at the NYT claim the Trump Administration has a list of 12 suspects, according to an unnamed source.

    And you buy that report?

You realize the failing NYT just sucked millions in ad revenue from this latest charade?

There's a reason people flip on Trump so easily when threatened by prosecutors.

Who wants to go down for a man like Trump, who treats everyone around him like garbage?

Do you think the Justice Department is feeling loyal to him, with Trump attacking the AG and members of the FBI constantly? How about the State Department, where Tillerson got summarily fired?

Even within the White House itself, people are repeatedly hung out to dry by Trump, either intentionally, to slake his thirst for drama, or unintentionally, when his idiotic bumbling trashes plans they've spent weeks or months putting in place.

Meanwhile, those with actual expertise routinely find themselves reporting to people whose only qualification is an obsequious attitude towards Trump (e.g., Ben Carson), or actually being his immediate family members (Kushner, Ivanka), or those if his hangers-on (Sanders).

Trump probably goes days on end without ever once encountering a person who actually likes him. No wonder he loves those campaign-style rallies, where he can bask in the adoration of the rubes who have no clue who he really is.

Do you guys ever get sick of denying -every single thing-?

Notice, the Emperor has no clothes - he never even really refuted the Op-Ed.

Denying? Well, the answer is yes, I'm sick and tired of the bullshit the liberal media rolls out every hour. I can't conceive how anyone buys their crap without ever questioning it.

How many times has the NYT been found to conflate, or even lie? I've lost count. How many retractions have they been forced to make?

The NYT has a history of inflating the importance of "sources" they use to make money from. A senior official turns out to be an intern.

    https://www.americanthinker.com/blo...ed_out_to_be_an_intern_a_senior_official.html

So how could the President deny or refute the rantings and claims from a phantasm? With the NYT's reputation, the Op-Ed could have been written by anyone, even a page in the White House.

To me, I find it hard to believe a real "senior official" would risk the shitstorm that is coming for exposing what could very well be treasonous actions by them, and the "others" they wrote about. I just don't find that plausible.

Real "senior officials" wouldn't be that stupid, and they most certainly wouldn't pull this stunt this close to the mid-terms, unless they were career bureaucrats held over from the Obama administration.

Wow wow wow! You hit on the truth and the essesnse of what The Trumpocity is all about. Well done !!

PS Question! At my age since I am retired I need my memory refreshed once in a while. Isn't Carson the same guy who Trump made stand in the shadows at his rallies and then Trump would say " Where is my ' Negro' ?" Or was it it "Where is my favorite Afro-American?". Then Carson would slither out. Or was it a Carson look alike Hollywood actor that Trump made play his "Afro-American"? Can you help?

What's that got to do with my post? I was comparing the treatment of aids and mentioned that the Hildabeast treated her aids far worse that Trump most likely treats his. And she had no leaks like this.

Donald Trump Attacks Ben Carson - The Atlantic

During a 95-minute speech Thursday, Donald Trump delivered a scathing attack on Ben Carson, his closest rival in the polls for the Republican presidential nomination. It makes for the primary’s ...

    https://www.theatlantic.com/politic...ps-extraordinary-attack-on-ben-carson/415791/

    excerpt:

Here is what Trump said about Carson:

...he wrote a book. And in the book he said terrible things about himself. He said that he’s pathological and that he’s got basically a pathological disease. Now he wrote this I guess before he was running for office or thought that he was running for office. And I don’t want a person that’s got pathological disease. I don’t want it. I’m not saying he’s got it, he said it.

This isn’t something that I’m saying, like “Oh, he’s pathological liar.” I’m not saying it! He said he’s got pathological disease. He actually said pathological temper.

And then he defined it as disease. So he said he has pathological disease.

Now. If you’re pathological, there’s no cure for that, folks.

Okay, there’s no cure for that. And I did one of the shows today. And I don’t want to say what I said. But I’ll tell you anyway. I said that if you’re a child molester, a sick puppy, you’re a child molester, there’s no cure for that. There’s only one cure—we don’t want to talk about that cure. That’s the ultimate cure. Well, there’s two, there’s death, and the other thing.

After the castration talk, Trump got back to attacking Carson, declaring, “He said he went after his mother with a hammer. He hit her on the head, or he wanted to hit her on the head, or he hit her on the head. And I said, wow, that’s tough. Man. Did anybody in this audience ever go after their mother to hit her with a hammer?” Then he vacillated between implying that Carson is an unstable thug who can’t be trusted in office because of violent things that he wrote about in his memoir, and declaring that his memoir is obvious bullshit that only dupes would believe.

If their 'convictions' are political they're fomenting insurrection and need to be dealt with harshly. If their 'convictions' are based in serious medical incapacity of the President they need to act.

The political removal of a president is provided for through impeachment, the only constitutional and legal means available. Elected representatives of the people alone have the moral right to impeach another elected official. Unelected officers of the United States Government that start, plan, promote or act to remove an elected official from office for political reasons is an open act of rebellion.

    Absolutely.

Looking at the President's reaction since the Op-ed letter, I consider the NYT to be a very credible newspaper.

Trump is convinced that he has a "traitor" in his ranks.

Of course he didn't. Instead the Trumpocity acted like a European king from year 918 and demanded that someone bring him the head of the guy who wrote the OpEd in ye olde Times.

Hey! The deep throat guy is a " senior official in the Trump administration". That means it is not a junior official. It also means that it is probably not a cabinet member.

It is not Pence. Pence is a Eunuch. Eunuchs do not have the balls to do something brave.

    Like the pun?

It was this line of thought, specifically Jim Acosta's claim that the president was acting paranoid at the rally in Montana, that had me find and watch the rally on youtube this morning. It's bull ****. President Trump was lucid, coherent and firmly oriented in time, place and subjects voiced. I saw nothing indicating paranoia or reduced mental capacity, nothing.

This 25th amendment talk is politically motivated and as such any government officer that acts in its furtherance, excluding members of congress, are fomenting insurrection or mutiny and need to be charged.

I'm a little surprised that I woke up this morning and Donald Poirot hasn't figured this out yet... I guess the waterboarding hasn't produced a valid suspect....

At least I got to wake up this morning... I'm guessing Tubby Don got little to no sleep.

I see John Kelly is the only REALLY Senior Administration person who has yet to issue a full denial..

    Hmmm

Since at this point there is no way to confirm the existence of the phantasm the NYT claims wrote the Op-Ed, I understand the President's response. If this person is actually real, they are indeed traitors.

In fact, given what is claimed, they might very well be considered treasonous, and subject to legal actions based on that standard. I find it a stretch to think seasoned, "senior" officials would be willing to go down that rabbit hole. Also, actual Trump officials wouldn't throw this Op-Ed out this close to the Mid-Terms, given their impact.

If this writer is an actual human being, they can't be part of a Republican Administration, since their timing was designed to be harmful to Republicans. They can't be senior, because treason is a major issue, and I doubt seasoned bureaucrats would walk down that road.

So, since we're all guessing at this point, and our individual agenda's and biases are being applied, my reaction is to consider who sold the Op-Ed to the public, and what would be responsible for writing it, if indeed they exist.
