End poverty by taxing the wealthy, and end hunger by harvesting the obese. They've obviously had more than their "fair share".
The top 1% wealthy and obese are the cause of poverty and hunger. If not for them, there would be no poverty or hunger.
If not for the wealthy and obese, babies would not be born poor and hungry.
Why do we tolerate them among us? I say we set upon them now and take them for all they've got.

Perhaps it would be best to summarily execute the rich into a mass grave?

My God people are getting totalitarian these days.

We can get the money out of the wealthy without killing them. It's the obese you need to harvest; they have obviously consumed the food that causes hunger.

But they are high in fat. Eating them will make you fat too and then you will have to be harvested.

That same problem occurs in those tasked with taxing the wealthy.

In theory but I noticed that the Clinton Foundations like to give money to each other so as long as you keep it moving....

We could get Bear Grylls to give lectures on edible wild plants and wildlife.

Once you've been served a fried tarantula, you realize that the only reason people go hungry is because they haven't been properly educated. This becomes pretty obvious when you see a bunch of homeless begging for food while covered in pigeon poo.

instead of giving them a few quarters, why not a recipe for squab?

I can't wait for the main campaign event to begin because while Hillary is busy rolling up her pantsuit sleeves to serve the staged homeless food in a soup kitchen, Trump is going to be in the Trumpcoptor at 1,000 feet chucking live turkeys at real BLM protesters.

Because enough of us consider personal responsibility to be better for society than letting government run everything.

End world hunger. Harvest the obese. Just the top 1%. They have obviously had more than their fair share. It's really not even good for them. Everybody would be better off; and besides, there's always another top 1% to be had tomorrow.

The problem is that for every measure of responsibility there is an equal measure of authority. Other people having authority over themselves is tantamount to chaos, isn't it? Are you suggesting that we, each, that I, take responsibility for myself? Now that is really terrifying.

Liberty, the individual's authority over and responsibility for them self, absolutely terrifies many people. They do not consider having their best intentions for others imposed upon them by force of law to be a usurpation of other people's best intentions for themselves. They consider it the only reasonable alternative to chaos or having their counterpart's best intentions imposed upon them by force, or by mere exposure. In my opinion, such a benevolence should be reserved to the parents of small children.

    Not in any way.

That is why you are willing to turn your freedom over to government. Very sad.

I think you view liberty as the absence of law and order. The term for that is anarchy. Liberty is the freedom to do what one wants to do without interfering with the freedom of others. The government should maintain order, foster freedom and provide an environment in which people can succeed if they have the desire and will to do it. What it should never do is replace personal responsibility.
