I somewhat see what you are trying to say. But recruitment and dedicated adherence to something doesn't necessarily qualify it as a religion. It would be a failed political ideology, and for anyone continuing to follow it, the issue has more to do with ignorance rather than "faith". Such as with those who believe the Earth is flat. The enduring concept of a flat Earth isn't a religion.
