On Tue last the President of Venezuela admitted that their Democratic Socialism economic model has FAILED. When you see pictures of what is going on in the country, he is right. Now it is time to inform the fools like Bernie and the young twit Cortez of this truth. The simple fact is------------------free schidt for all simply DOESNT work. Comments?
As seems the case in almost all Latin American countries, realities that were obvious long ago, finally get admitted to, which inevitably paves the way for the next socialist/dictator/coup set back the citizens kid themselves into believing in. This constant churning is obviously cultural, and seems destined to never end. I don't know if it's due to lack of education, over reliance on emotional appeals, or something else, but the inability for people to see, or even consider, "what happens next", is a serious problem with the people in these countries, and here, among people enthralled with far left agenda's like those Progressives talk about.
Experience is always the best teacher. It's good to hear some who tried socialism admit it doesn't work. Are you liberals listening?
Nope, not strange at all when the socialist propagandist machine never runs stories detrimental to their overlords.
And in Canada -- The Ontario basic income pilot project is coming to an end, says Children, Community and Social Services Minister Lisa MacLeod. The pilot project started in April 2017. It was originally set to last three years, and explore the effectiveness of providing a basic income to those living on low incomes — whether they were working or not. During the announcement, MacLeod was asked what data the province was citing when it said the program wasn't working. MacLeod didn't offer any examples, and instead just said it was "not sustainable." https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/lisa-macleod-announcement-1.4768626
Hey Bernie and Cortez---------------------------------your mantra of free schidt DONT work. NOTHING in life is free, someone somewhere has to pay for it.
