Good. Same here - while I despised Dennis Miller's right wing idiocies when he was on the air during the broadcasts, it did not lessen my appreciation for that great game.
Oh, gawd - I hate the Eagles. Their fans are the WORST. Remember when they had a freakin' courtroom in the basement of the Vet? Plus Philly is one of the nastiest cities in America. The last time I was up there was when all that MOVE sh*t was going down. After the last Eagles-Redskins game I attended at FedEx Field I swore I would never put myself around those knuckledraggers again. They were awful - droppin' F-Bombs around kids, starting fights in the stands and in the parking lot - I guess they're America's version of British soccer hooligans and Russian Ultras...
Politics and football should never be in the same conversation. I'm going to watch my team play regardless if Obama himself becomes the coach of the Pats. The two entities never should be related.
I watch the game for the play on the field not the commentary around it. Good football is what makes me tune in.
I doubt it - I'm pretty bad myself but those dudes were violently belligerent. I love a good rivalry, exchanging verbal jabs with other fans and all that good stuff, but it's a game for crissakes.
Me, too, and I'm liking a lot of the new blood I'm seeing around the league in teams like the Jags, Chiefs, Rams and Titans (I wish the Texans could get it going). Heck, even the Browns appear to be turning the corner. Then again, they've only beaten the New York Butt-Munches...
I admire your sense of loyalty. But if Trump was ever hired as coach of the Giants, I'd immediately stop rooting for them after nearly 60 years of loyal support.
LOL. Trump would bankrupt the team and run them to the ground like he did with all those bankruptcies he created.
Is the NFL going a bit too far in protecting quarterbacks? http://www.espn.com/blog/nflnation/...enalties-are-way-up-and-the-nfl-has-a-problem At this point with all the excessive fouls called, I will say, yes it is.
I found out Clay Matthews was flagged for the 3rd time this year today for “falling” with all his weight on the quarterback. That’s some bullshit. On another note the Ravens are 2-1 and basically made Von Miller a non factor today.
Giants win (for once)! So glad that Eli Manning finally learned how to roll out of the pocket to buy himself some time to pass. Made a big difference as Jints win over Texas.
I watch that game. If I were Clay Matthews I would have hit the ref. It was unbelievable. Everyone at the bar was going nuts. Green Bay fans, we have your back on that one
Patriots looked like crap. Granted half the team is out, but I think with half the defense returning the next couple weeks we should go for a deep run again like we did the last few years with a rough squad. Our pass rush sucks, our tackling sucks, and we have NO receivers. All any team has to do until Edleman and Gordon return is just double Gronk the whole game. Worked out well for the Lions last night
