Black people contributed only Jazz. And mindless Rap. I don't listen to Jazz. Or Rap. So nothing has been contributed, as far as for me.

George Washington Carver , Save Cotton in the South with the development of Peanuts as a cash crop that would restore Nitrogen to the soil that was key to good Cotton yields.

No, that is not correct. African Americans invented Blues music, which they evolved into Rhythm & Blues and then into Rock music. If you listen to any modern popular music apart from folk music it has been heavily influenced by African American music at some point in its evolution.

Jazz is some of the finest music ever created and Rap has produced some brilliant music. You should expand your horizons.

Blues, Jazz, what's the difference. They're subgenres under the same genre. And Rap and Hip-Hop music is not real music like the one Mozart or Wagner used to make. Rap and Hip-Hop is degenerate music for true degenerates. Literally everyone can become a rapper. No special skills are needed.

If you don't know the difference then you are astonishingly ignorant on the subject of music. Perhaps you should stick to topics that you understand.

Blues is a story telling art form based around guitar and vocals. Jazz is the broadest musical form ever invented and as complex as any music. Musically it can be as complex as Classical music, but unlike that music it also allows for spontaneous interaction between players. It isn't enough to have skill and dexterity, as it is with Classical playing, you also have to be able to listen and improvise.

Once again you parade your ignorance. Mozart & Wagner made impressive music, but that was a long time ago. All their fans can ever hope for is skillful repetition. If that is all you want from music then you are part of a dead culture. One might almost say degenerate.

Rap & Hip Hop has its own set of skills. If you think 'anyone can do it' you have clearly never tried to do it in front of a critical audience. It is music that requires the same writing skills as any music and vocal abilities that few people can fully master.

I suspect, however, I am wasting my time here. Musically Europe has been close to dead for a century. A handful or worthwhile Classical composers and......? It ran out of ideas long ago. Probably the result of a degenerate culture dedicated to repetition of a small body of elite culture or an uninteresting body of popular music. Remove Europeans prepared to borrow from music created by African Americans Europe and there isn't much of interest.....unless the repetition of a dead art form is to your taste.

I'll let you rethink your absurd statement. Then we'll talk again. If you'd like. The fact that you live across the world is not an excuse to not know that real music actually does still exist.

Maybe you would like to educate yourself a bit about which song was played on the first spacecraft that went into deep space – the Voyager 1, and also Voyager 2. You then can come and share with us, the unenlightened, was that blues, jazz, rap, hip-hop, or was it something else.

You may also want to share with us the theme soundtrack song on the Restrepo movie. Now don't tell me you didn't watch Restrepo. Damn good movie. Damn good movie!

And about Italian music, it's elixir for the ears. You can listen to it all day.

The girl that sings that song is 25-years old. A modern singer. Can any jazzer, rapper, hip-hopper sing that? Can any Black girl or a Black man sing that? Roll it at 1:20 and listen, please. If you don't get the goose bumps from this, I'll admit you're right. But turn the volume up a bit, please.

    A few more.

I will not even go to Andrea Bocelli and Luciano Pavarotti. I don't want to embarrass your statement even further.

    Here, more for your soul:

If you can get a rapper or a hip-hopper, jazzer or whatever to sing one of these songs, I'll bow down in front of you. I promise you that, sir.
