He may. With MT on the receiving end I'm sure he'll rack up some serious yardage

The quality of play in the NFL is up.
    TV ratings are up.
Interest in pro football is up.
So great that those who rang the death knell for the league last year were dead wrong.

    Cool.

What are your thoughts on tonight's match-up? I personally can't stand either team so I hope they tie.

Well the Bears just handed Miami an OT win.

    They are idiots.

Today was the very first day I ever rooted for the Steelers to win. And sure enough they did.

While I am not a Steelers fan, you gotta admit the old Steel Curtain gang was a fun bunch to watch.

The Pats and Chiefs game was wild. Gronk's stiff arm was probably my favorite.

Gordon got a little banged up but will be fine.

The chiefs scored with 3 minutes left. I was laughing when they did because I thought "Great, now Brady will just take his time (3 time outs) and run the clock down and go for a field goal".

Yeah that was a great game, wish it had gone the other way, but in the end it was a damned fun game.

Exactly, which are the best. The first half I thought it was going to be a blowout. Then the Chiefs start playing better and it was a game.

Lately when we've played the Chiefs, we just get blown out of the water. I was under the impression it was going to happen again given their 5-0 start. Nice to see a close game against them

Man did anyone watch that brutal first half last night. Holy cow, I knew Arizona was bad, but I didn't know they were so bad as to compete with the Giants for last.

Yea they are so bad they made Denver look good. And Denver isn't very good. On the bright side, I picked up Denver's defense an hour before the game, in Fantasy football, because I realized my D had a bye week.

32 points for a defense

As of this minute it is the Rams and the Chiefs that have the best records.

That means nothing at this point. The chiefs are notorious for this type of season. We all know what happens. It's not even half way through yet so it's too soon to judge.

That being said, so far both of those teams look good.

    Rams look much better though.

I still feel like if the Eagles win their division, they will cause some problems in the playoffs. Just got a weird feeling

Yea but that's not what he's saying. You're taking it literally. The Giants and the Cardinals are the worst. Not by record alone, but by the way they are playing. If you watch the games every weekend, you would agree (I go to the sports bar every Sunday if I'm not working).

I too like the Rams so far.

This may be a repeat for them of the early 2000's.

I used to have time to go to a sports bar when I was younger, in my 40's.

But that was 25 years ago and now they are working me to death at work instead.

Yeah, I was thinking, if Rosen continues like this the D to pick is "Whomever is playing Arizona".

I mean who ends up with first pick could come down to who loses the Raiders-Arizona game.

Yea, usually I'm an "anyone the bills are playing, I'm picking their defense" kind of guy. But now Arizona is making a case!
