As an initial step, the two Koreas are seeking to pull out 11 guard posts within a 1km radius of the Military Demarcation Line by the end of 2018.

Trump is going to go down in the history books as the US President who accomplished what was thought to be impossible by every other POTUS before him. He should get the Nobel Peace Prize too.

I wonder how the former Presidents like Obama and Bush feel about this. Probably a little jealous...LOL

This is NOT Trump's doing. This is because President Moon is a mature individual who is willing to co-operate and discuss the future of Korea with the DPRK. Just because this has happened while Trump is in the White House does not mean it is because of him.

Yeah Obama must be jealous that he had to be in office while Korea had two conservative, hard-line anti-DPRK (Lee & Park) presidents who weren't as mature as President Moon, a smart and pragmatic individual that is doing all the work.

Probably skeptical as anyone should when dealing with North Korea. I think it's way to early to get our hopes up.

ROFL ... So, do we actually have someone who actually thinks it is Trump's success and believes the bullcrap? O dear ...
No, my friend ... Trump actually deserves an indictment from the ICC and no Nobel Prize for what he did here.

The peace nobel price belongs ... if anyone deserves it, China! It was and is only the pressure from China and the sanctions imposed by China, which mad midget brought back to sanity ... because only that hurt him! The stupid chatter and the childlike threats of Trump had the opposite effect ... "my red button is bigger than Kim's" and all the other bullcrap the idiot said in the White House are proof enough that Trump is a warmonger and then nothing!

Obviously. That's why they are disarming the DMZ, right?

Removing landmines and guard posts is good, but I'm betting patrols along the border will continue.

Forget it ... with people discussing who are trying to set up Trump false halos is pointless as I have learned here.

I've told you clearly who here is really to be thanked for relaxing and putting mad midget on the correct track ... you obviously see it differently ... you justify this that with the testimony of a US lackey ... what else should I discuss about it with you?

    Have a nice day!

Well, let's see. Prior to Trump, zero progress with NK. After Trump, well....you can read.

With NK it's going to be a long term process. And when the administration is replaced with a new one, who knows how that administration will handle NK. Things can change very quickly when dealing with a very insecure country like NK.

Sure, but not everyone is still at war with their neighboring country with a De-Militarized Zone in between.

It is no surprise that the only party objecting to the peace efforts begun by the 2 Koreas is the US. It is not even ironic. The silent coup in which the military took over the White House happened long before Trump came in.

The US has spent roughly $60 billion helping to keep the two Koreas apart. Were peace to break out, America should demand they repay us by funding our border security and big beautiful wall.

Watch both Koreas improving relations in 2019 and beyond. It'll happen.
