As far as rules violations no governing body can govern the body a transsexual brings into her race or the advantage having it gives her. Your point is ridiculous and I won't address it again. It also reeks of desperation.

 

So you would be OK with men pretending to be women playing on the Women's Olympic Basketball Teams? On high school and college women's softball teams? Marathons. Weight lifting.

So if a man who likes to think of himself as a woman demands to be allowed to play on the LPGA turny must he be allowed?

 

I'd be ok if the rules are in place and the rules apply to all.
But you can't comprehend, it isn't simply a man pretending to be a woman. So there is no point in discussing it with you.

Can you even comprehend what might happen if a male college or pro-baseball player steps up to the plate on a women's softball field and hit a linedrive right at the pitcher? How competitive will the average female weight lifter be with an average male weight lifter? A male marathon runner competing against women? The last Boston Marathon the top woman doesn't even make it into the top 100 male competitors.

It is lame to use your boyfriend, a non-athlete, as an example. I am a guy but could never outrace the professional quality female athletes in this competition.

But when you take a man and a woman, both of whom are professionally trained in their sport, the guy will have a biological advantage, period, end of discussion.

Yes, I gave you a junior high school level lesson in basic biology why men are better athletes than women.

I'm sure this sort of eff-off! attitude does so much to address the injustice done to all the women that have to compete against
men who have traded their junk in for a female knock off and now consider themselves real women.

Your compassion for all those athletes who already have two strikes against them before the competition even begins is frankly sickening
and a real slap to real women.

There went Title IX...... All it would take is a few hundred college-aged male athletes with little shame (and participating in sports that their university doesn't allow for males (for example, the U. of Alabama has no male soccer team because of Title IX)), and the whole farce of this could be exposed.

Has anyone given a valid explanation for this? How do we let a male compete with females? I don't care if she is transgender or not. The muscle and frame are male, right?

I usually side with transgender athletes competing with their transitioned gender but this individual is an intact male that — from what I have read — has been removed from other cycling organizations for refusing to take testosterone blockers (what would be considered doping if he was an actual woman).

He has since called for the woman who won bronze to be banned because she voiced that she felt the situation was unfair.

He sounds like a pos.
In this case it is absolutely a man pretending to be a woman.

 

If there are other women's cycling organizations. Then the women have a place to go to and exit the one they think has biased rules.

 

I dunno..I am a moderate on transgender beliefs..they can be whatever they like but cmon..a womans cycling meet? Hes actually not even transgender I think..no testosterone reduction therapy I can see..He just identifies as female. But hes forcing it into gender divided competition? Its ridiculous

 

There are trans cycling organizations. Why not advocate for the woman staying in the woman’s cycling organization and the pre-op mtf transsexual go to the trans organization?

Anyone defending men competing in women's events and winning them, then threatening the other participants because they are upset really needs their sanity and credibility questioned.

It's a man pretending to be a woman and he had no business competing in any women's event.

 

It does not matter. Males have larger muscles than females and waaay larger amounts of testosterone and therefore male athletes are superior to female athletes.

 

Structural frame from birth has a lot to do with it as well.
