Refugees are not all poorly educated, low skilled workers still contribute to the economy, plenty of people are willing to employ them, and English can be learned. If you want to say they are a net drain, pony up with the numbers. Until then, all I hear are the same arguments made against my ancestors and probably yours.

None of them had immigration policies. You digging your heels in on a non-mover looks desperate.

    Apples to oranges.

In my NICU all the offspring of illegals get their healthcare subsidized by the American taxpayers. And that's just one hospital. All the studies that show illegals supporting the economy all leave out two things. Healthcare & education. And we all know how expensive healthcare is. I can only give you individual numbers of patients on my unit and their healthcare costs. Nationally is a different story and no one is privy to that info.

That being said one particular patient who was born on my unit at 24 weeks gestation this year cost over 1 million in healthcare costs to the American taxpayers. One full term newborn here for rule out sepsis for two days costs over $5000. The mother's labor & delivery bill two to three times that. Both ride the taxpayers, or Medicaid.

These are just a few examples of real world numbers. I think by now you see where I'm going with this.

Ebola has always been here. It's just hasn't been sensationalized by the media in recent years. Give it time. It's on their itinerary.
