That statement is perfectly true. We are getting their poverty and crime, not their businessmen. He was not talking about all Mexicans and it was in the context of illegal aliens. Quit taking him out of context and distorting his words. And it certainly wasn't racist.

Care to tell me which of those organization are not classified as terrorist organizations by the US. And interesting you actually read the quote and then pretended it said unknown Middle Easterners. Can you not actually read?

Does it say illegal aliens? Answer no. It says mexicans sent by Mexico and that means they went through immigration.

And I particularly like the " they are not sending you" which is Trump basically saying they aren't sending white anglo saxons. Just more Trump appeal to racism. Those Mexicans just don't look like you.

And then remember he went on to say he couldn't get a fair trial by a judge of Mexican descent.

    From your article:

"undocumented immigrants are at least 146% more likely to be convicted of crime than other Arizonans.” They also tend to commit more serious crimes, and have significantly higher rates for such crimes as murder, manslaughter, sexual assault and armed robbery, Lott concluded, and are more likely to be gang members. Conversely, Lott found that legal immigrants “were extremely law-abiding,” committing crimes at a lower rate than native-born residents"

Such persons should be sought, apprehended, and deported with no recourse, 1st offense a 5 year ban, 2nd offense a 10 year ban, and 3rd offense a permanent ban. If they refuse to play ball with us, we should just play ball with them so they might eventually learn the rules.

Yes, agreed that they should be apprehended, and that is not my point.

Then they can always go elsewhere, where the wait is much less.

Columbia, Venezuela, Cuba, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, maybe? No U.S. forces to contend with in those places. And perhaps some other countries who have a large aging population might benefit by taking some of them in? The U.S. doesn't appear in the top 25 list of such countries, and employment opportunities might be much greater as well as cost of living, not to mention free health care and college in many of them.

What should we be asking government to do about our immigration laws?

That depends on what one thinks should be done. Critical lefties want to "abolish ICE", I expect they'd favor a much more relaxed system, "open borders" if possible. Conservatives are concerned about the volume of poor among the immigrants which we perceive as a substantial cost to the government, we want a much more restrictive system, better enforcement, some even want a wall.

Last year the US allocated 53 thousand refugee visas for the whole world (more than any other country) and there were 130,000 applicants from Central America alone.

So, it looks like this and all other threads here are simply a waste of time, even intentionally perhaps?
I remain more convinced than ever that repealing the 16th and 17th amendments, and reducing/eliminating some Federal agencies/employees as a first step is the ONLY way that we're going to BEGIN to resolve issues we are most divided on.

All posts and threads here are a waste of time. Who ever changes his political opinion because of a counterargument? We are all just smarting off and collecting "likes." Except me, of course.

I agree, nothing productive is likely to be accomplished here.
I'm going to look for another forum where members are posting with intent of resolving issues than they are denigrating each other.
I may check back here from time to time for a while, to see if any progress begins to happen, and if not... colour me gone.

According to a study reported in the Huffington Post, 80% of the Central American Woman who illegally cross the border or raped in enroute.

Yet the Left assures us that keeping these rape routes open is the only proper moral choice. There simply is no arguing with folks with a clay brained deformity for an outlook.

I was asking if our laws need any changes, and if so what changes might they be?
Earlier I stated that those who enter illegally should be immediately returned to Mexico for the Mexican government to prosecute or deport them if they entered Mexico illegally or without a valid U.S. visa allowing them to enter the U.S. at a proper border crossing point.
I agree, we should make it the business of Mexico to protect their own borders rather than allow it to become a problem for us. Perhaps it would even benefit us to fund their stay in a Mexican jail for a year or more instead of putting them in detention camps in the U.S. costing us about $100 per day each. Pay Mexico $10 each instead.

I think you already suggested ending birthright citizenship for tourists and illegal aliens and I support that idea 100%

Also, immediate return to mexico is the only way we can deal with this migrant mob

More action is needed but those are good first steps

And how many career criminals and paedophiles are among them, that is the question? In fact it's the question we should have asked, before allowing our womenfolk to go around waving 'Refugees are welcome here' banners.

Well, it seems I've accomplished little to nothing on this forum, so I'll leave it the rest of you to pursue debating/discussing issues and look elsewhere to see where actions resulting in change might initiate from.

    Signing off here.

This exact photograph pictured here by the Righties here of approximately 3700 people, men, women and children, are in the south of Mexico and half to WALK 500 MILES to even get to Mexico City!

For the obviously geographically illiterate Right Wing losers who didn't pay attention in the 5th grade, these people have to walk a THOUSAND MILES to be able to "assault America and provide a grave danger to our country" at our border!

Without reliable food, water, and shelter!

Yes, sir, America has serious problem when America can't handle whatever is left of these walkers!

Freaking Republicans and Trumpies are pathetic! Can Trump and their Trumpies understand they have have made the USA into a joke around the world over hysterical rhetoric like this?
