Natural flow of things. You often see the house shift in the first term of the new president.

It is sort of a good thing for Donald Trump and Republicans. I'm kind of ticked off at the Republicans for fighting Donald Trump on his border wall.

Donald Trump can blame the house. So that means in 2020 Republicans will likely keep their seats on Senate. They might even gain back the house.

Gonna be tough for the GOP to keep their seats in the Senate in 2020. 22 GOP seats vs 11 DEM seats in the Senate in 2020.

Well that would all depend on how this next legislative session goes. If the Democrats are busy making fools of themselves then they're probably not going to gain anything.

I think it would be the most dangerous to Republicans for them to focus on policy and legislative type things vs pulling their hair out and screechinghors about how conservatives and Republicans exist and have the right to vote and participate in government.

Will we see this I don't know.

In today's political climate, who effing knows. The GOP were masters at obstructing and investigatiog from 2010 - 2016 and it did well for them. I bet the Dems try the same, but not as extreme and for as long. Not because they don't want to of course, but because they are spineless and are afraid to.

It's like they don't understand that there's a constitution and it's our right to own guns.

Also, wherein I called the Seats for the Repubs in the Senate and also stating the Demos wouldn't have the majority of govenorships.

Then that the Repubs would win Florida, and Ohio too. [IMG]

They have already demonstrated they go Way Beyond the extreme.

Yeah it's kind of an interesting take one of the things I admire about the Democrats is how loyal they are to their politicians. That's one thing that seems like a weakness within the Republican Party. I did see a change in that during Donald Trump's campaign and election. maybe it was that everyone already knew that he had affairs with other women besides his wife. Maybe it was because they dislike Hillary so much they would have voted for anyone instead of her.

Maybe they're wising up and realizing they can't get a perfect person.

Who knows either way things will continue to happen and it won't really matter in the long run.

Something to keep in mind is they don't vote for themselves. I think one of the major reasons Donald Trump won the Republican vote is because of his stance on immigration. We've seen Republicans not vote for somebody based on Affairs they had everybody knew what Donald Trump did. So why were they willing to go against their standard and vote for this guy? I would say it was because of the one thing he did differently than everyone else.

Republican politicians what to keep illegal aliens here because they undercut the lower wage earners. Democrats politicians want to keep them here because they vote for Democrats. I really think that's the sole purpose that he was elected.

Around my area the people of color taking things over are from China and India for the most part.

Democrats could never tell the difference in a person of Africa vs one from Asia.

Yes. You can't fight demographics once things go too far.

Trump is trying.......it may be too late.

    LOL

Well, very liberal organizations conducted their own review of the vote in Florida, and Bush won, so, time to flush that BS.

As to the electoral college, when do you think liberals will figure out there are 50 states, and people in each one are important?

I think Democrats need to start getting their act together if they plan on having a chance at a 2020 presidential election.

This mirrors a lot of what happened during Barack Obama's term. The Republicans ran McCain who nobody liked against Barack Obama who the Democrat voters really liked and then there was the Mitt Romney mediocrity the Democrats still liked Barack Obama.

    Hillary just wasn't likeable.

Obviously, but it may be too late to fix it.

The cancer of multiculturalism may have gone too far.

Oh.....could you link up the majority of the population wanting to pay more in taxes and not pay less taxes.

Then can you link up the majority of the population not wanting to save money. Thanks.

McCain just wasn't cut for the job. Too old, IMO. And picking Palin as his VP sealed his fate and made his entire campaign look desperate to gain voters Obama was running away with.

If I were a Democrat voter I would support making a law that she doesn't get to run again.

I would support laws against close relatives running for office too.

I wonder how different it would have been if Bernie Sanders had gotten the nomination. I'm not sure he would have won but I think he would have done a lot better than Hillary.

Well, I tend to vote Republican. I don't call myself a Republican because I'm more of a libertarian. I didn't like McCain because he was a whoremonger. That was my major gripe with Barack Obama. I wasn't that much of a fan of Bush because of this. Before that I was a kid. I don't know a whole lot about politics before that.

So I can't say if he didn't appeal to Republicans because he was a warmonger. He didn't appeal to me because of that. But whatever the case Republicans didn't get out and vote like the Democrats did. And that's what wins elections.

I think Sarah Palin was his best choice. Most of the dislike for her is muckraking.

Oh it wasn't holy.....your Lame Scream media had your Demos winning Florida. The Senate and the governorship

Btw I called Braun in Indiana. Marsha Blackburn in Tennessee. While your Lame Stream said it was neck and neck.

While you believed their bullshit about McCaskill would win Missouri.

Although your trolling didn't have you on display with saying much of anything. Which is typical with trolls considering they don't much about politics. [IMG]
