Because they knew the criminal president would not let the charade go on any longer and would replace him.

As been explain to you countless times our drug laws mirror obligations to UN Treaties.

Simply claiming something is modern does not make it good.

No because he should have never taken the position if he knew he was going to recuse himself from this critical investigation and then refused to direct Rosenstein to recuse himself.

False, and what an absurd thing to say. He only recused himself from the investigation into Russian meddling and the tru p campaign. Yes, maybe to our criminal president, that is "everything", but not to a rational person.

Why? That's a bold claim. In the end, the only leg you will have to stand on is "Tru p good! Trump innocent!", Which, of course, would be you claiming to know the truth that the investigation is still trying to find.

Nothing bold at all if he knew he would have to refuse himself and that he was going to he should have told Trump from the getgo.

Maybe he didn't know yet. And your suggestion is frightening...the speed with which so many uber Patriots have capitulated to totalitarian rule is amazing to watch...

You are honestly arguing g that the criminal president should have more control over a federal I vestigation of which he and his allies are targets amd subjects. Listen to yourself....frightening...

Oh, please--Little Jeff did everything but waste our money going after people he could never convict and would have turned into martyrs.

Unless Trump is guilty of something, he would do well to lay off Mueller, Hillary, etc. Folks want him to fix healthcare, get the cost of drugs down, and act like a President.

    Exactly.

The RW has ZERO idea about what Marxism entails.

To the RW, "Marxism" is just a word that they regurgitate when they have nothing else.

Sessions forgot the old proverb where Trump was concerned: "Lie with dog, get up with flea."

How is it regressive? You are using words you dont even understand. Republicans are the progressives because they make progress. Democrats want to regress to the pointbof open borders with people flowing in left and right and overconsuming our resources while progression involves moving away from such archaic systems. Its so cute when democrats claim to ne progressives but it is indeed quite the opposite. Slavery for example. The REPUBLICANS made progress by abolishing it and now democrats wamt it again in the form of welfare voting slaves. You got a lot to learn kiddo!

There is no progress. The entire platform is to get rid of progress. You are not smart.

After Sessions, whither the Russia hoax witch hunt?

Even at this stage, with an Acting AG, the legal landscape appears to have changed drastically. What's more, this drastic change takes effect immediately -- while the Republicans still control the House.

Janice Rogers Brown is the likely replacement.

With the Acting AG, the legal landscape changed drastically. This drastic change takes effect immediately -- while the Republicans still control the House.

Whitaker will oversee Special Counsel Mueller's investigation. Rosenstein, at least as long as he remains Deputy AG, will continue to supervise FBI Director Christopher Wray, but Whitaker will be able to override any and every decision that Rosenstein or anyone else makes -- including Mueller. Production of documents to House committees, declassification of documents, expedited redactions, prosecutorial decisions, conflict of interest and other ethical issues, coordination with OIG -- pretty much everything will be within his purview and, given the several months long lead time that he's had, Whitaker should have an action plan ready.

The notion that an attorney should recuse himself from overseeing a case simply because he wants to ensure that that case is conducted within statutorily prescribed limits, is a pretty obvious bad faith proposition and a non-starter frm "No-Nads" Nadler. An attorney, including the Attorney General, is not a judge. He is bound by canons of ethics, but he is not bound to have no opinion on any given matter that he may be called upon to supervise, so long as he has no conflict of interest. Schumer and Nadler didn't even attempt to demonstrate any conflict as there is none.

The Left-wing Crazies are going to be disappointed. Trump-endorsed Pelosi was quick to tweet yesterday evening, even before the polls had closed:

"For those who want impeachment, that's not what our caucus is about."

If the Democrats think they are going to waste Taxpayer Money investigating us at the House level, then we will likewise be forced to consider investigating them for all of the leaks of Classified Information, and much else, at the Senate level.
    ~ President Trump

Well he did a few Muslim bans proving that the third time really is the charm.
And he separated a bunch of kids from their mothers. That was good.

He did it immediately upon taking the office. He should never have accepted knowing he would have to recuse himself from the important position the Attorney General of the United States would play in such an investigation. And I reject your terming Trump is a "criminal President" and such hyperbole adds nothing to to your debate.

BTW I wrote Sessions in on my ballot for our Presidential electors in my state and have voted for him everytime he ran for Senator and state AG.
