All due respect, but its a ridiculous notion to think that one of the candidates in a race, dem or rep, should have any say in wher/ewhen/how the votes are counted. NONE

I agree with you but I think we have a different situation. 80K votes show up 48 hours after the legal time to submit votes. They refuse to give an explanation as to where the votes came from. My understanding is Rick Scott is only there to inspect the votes to determine where they came from.

 

I lived in Brevard County and Brevard went to hard copy, optically scanned ballots years ago. Everything runs smoothly. I don't know what they do in Broward, Miami - Dade but they seem to have perennial problems. The "hanging chad election" of 2000 raised hell in Florida.

 

Why doesn't this stuff happen in Republican areas, like Tennessee or Nebraska?

Democrats were worried about the Russians degrading our elections. Florida Democrats have done much more to harm Americans' faith in our voting system than the Russians ever did.

 

It is obvious that we need international observers to monitor our elections. I am sure that the Iranians, North Koreans, Chinese, and Russians will be willing to volunteer.

 

The whole State had only about 8 million give or take. Broward doesn't make up 3/4ths of them. Not even close. Though it wouldn't surprise me to see them try.

On edit: My county, Pinellas, is the most densely populated in the state.

He is pretty convincing and believable there is something rotten in Broward County.. He does not look like hocus pocus

I have met some smart and agreeable floridan conservatives.. Most folks are disillusioned that america is mostly cities full of shythole citizens deficating in the streets

They have no concept that there may be rural regions of California and Florida

.....The spread has narrowed in the past couple days by what can only be described as a suspect process in notorious Broward County. Three days after Election Day the county wasn’t finished reporting results from early voting, which ended on Sunday.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio was among the first to note the irregularities. Broward won’t disclose how many ballots are left, and “isn’t reporting hourly or regularly, but rather releasing thousands of additional votes, often in the overnight hours, that are chipping away at GOP leads,” as Senator Rubio put it.

On Thursday a teacher in Broward found a container labeled “Provisional Ballot Box” in a storage area of an elementary school that had been a polling station. The Sun-Sentinel reported Friday that a Broward County election official said there were no ballots in the box, which would be more reassuring if country officials were more transparent....

There is no evidence of tabulation errors or reports of broken machines

The idea that one of the candidates in a race has access to the f’n ballots, and the other doesn’t is stunningly banana republic.

Ex: “Matching Signatures” is required by law, but your willing to say that Rick Scott and his teams should have the access to watch THEIR PEOPLE determine who’s matches and who’s doesnt. But Nelson cant.

There are tons of reason.....maybe they use different systems......maybe they allow for more poll workers.....maybe they had less mail in ballots.....

You mean “make sure we can suppress as many as we possibly can from these urban areas” ? I’m all for recounts, but you have to ask yourself a simple question, why not count ALL of the ballots that were cast ?

You said it was population and we cannot expect a county with that population to do better and complete its count. Are you withdrawing that now? Do you have any evidence or your new reasons being postulated?

I was perfectly clear it what I said. There have been no claims of voter suppression. Do you want every ballot counted or just the legal ballots?

 

This has been in court for a few days now and NOT ONE CASE of fraud has been presented. ALL the chatter about "fraud" is being carried on outside of court to stir up anger and outrage as a political weapon, and the more deplorable people are falling for it without any investigation.
