You're only calling the majority justices "activist" though aren't you? Not the entire Supreme Court. In which case, "activist Supreme Court" is a strange thing to say.

    What point?

The militia interpretation supported on the part of the linguists being cited by yourself is flawed and unworkable. That is why it and their brief was rejected in the final Heller ruling, as it had nothing to do with individual rights.

Yes, you have, but you wouldn't apply it to every single justice would you? What about the ones who didn't vote with the majority in District of Columbia v. Heller?

It means what was said; words are relative. Human needs and situations change. Human institutions adapt or are replaced.

Then is it being claimed on the part of yourself, is that the united states constitution is supposedly a living document, subject to change as time passes, in accordance with what government may believe?

Government is what people believe and permit it to be. All else relative to humans is the same.

Because government has never gone against the will of the people to further its own self-sustaining interests, correct? Such a move is historically unprecedented?

That's what I thought. It is just weird that you referred to an "activist Supreme Court" when you don't believe they are all activists.

The USA has a Federal Constitution.

    They should be following it.

But they ignore it every chance they get.

Ruth Bader Ginsberg would love to pillow talk with you.

That is what she believes too.

Better hurry though because any day she might croak.

Rights definitely come from the Bill Of Rights. You are right about that.

There used to be Rights Of Englishmen but they don't have any of these rights anymore. They live on an island as slaves to socialism and pacifism and disarmament of the populace.

The 2nd is probably the most important.

It puts teeth into all the others.

My own teeth consist of a Ruger Mini 14, a Mossberg 12 gauge, and a CZ 45ACP.

Anyone who tries to overthrow the BOR will have to face these teeth of mine.

Ergo the USA is the arsenal of democracy.

And there is a gun behind every blade of grass.

Exactly. And governments don't impose taxes; people impose taxes.
