    1. Non sequitur in the first sentence. Nationwide "popular vote" in non nationwide elections is meaningless.
    2. The U.S. is a Constitutional Republic, not a Democracy.
    3. That the midterms were only "state elections" is inaccurate. They are mixed state and federal.

Yes, there is a "rush" with respect to the federal component of midterm elections. States should be reasonably expected to accurately, competently and fairly count their votes and report those results quickly after elections are concluded. When they do not, it becomes a significant national security issue, far more significant than Russian tweets and Facebook posts.

If they want to drag the state portion of their elections out incompetently and fraudulently, that's their business. Not with respect to the federal component though.

And of course the Democrats are all in favor of doing things according to law. Snipes is guilty today of violations.

I would like to point out a minor element error. First the elections are never federal. They are state elections. Definitely some offices voted for work for or are people representatives including the Senate but at all times each state presides over that state's elections and they govern how it is handled. Florida law was broken by at least two voting areas of Florida when the two areas refused to report on time on election night. They were to give official tally's.

I understand the difference, just using the term "federal" to distinguish components of those elections that bear on the federal government and national security, and could have worded that better. Are there any truly "federal" elections?

I knew you know the difference. Due to the system, no there are no true fedeal elections. A federal election would be conducted by the Feds and they would supervise them.

I mainly wanted others to lay off the nonsense they regularly post, such as the popular vote. That is a myth, presuming the entire collection of states turn in such votes to be included with other states votes. States do not allow that.

And FDLE said, "No Thanks. Nothing to investigate. Legally counting ballots is not a criminal act."

    Except when Republicans lose.

Except in this case the Democrats lost and it is they who are demanding a recount, not the Republicans.

It's too bad you cannot get even the simplest of facts correct, nor less much more complicated ones like investigations.

    Which two?
    What are there names?
    What specifically is their assignment?

Given the treats by Republicans to disrupt the counting of votes I can guess they were there, if they were there, to keep your fellow walkers in line.

Didn't ask, I just noticed them there in FDLE shirts and they where back today as well.

BTW, wasn't in line, was in the office doing video.
