Yeah .. That record breaking employment, destroying Obama's Caliphate, highest wage growth in 20 years, and best GDP growth in more than a Decade is just too much to bear.

    Caliphate? ...

This is some right-wing thinking I genuinely can't understand. No moderate or Democrat in their right mind would ever vote for a candidate that genuinely believes in introducing Sharia law. (and no, Obama is not a "secret Muslim")

Most moderates and left-leaning pols actually want to remove religion from the public sphere and yes, that includes Islam. Your policy decisions should also not be based on your private religious convictions if it means discriminating against people of different faith, race or more recently sexual orientation. Again, that applies to Muslims as well as Christians. This may come as a surprise, but there are plenty of secular Muslims who don't take the Koran literally and can separate their private faith from policy, just like many Christians do.

The flag-burning, AK 47 wielding nutjobs that like to blow themselves up are a very loud minority that are hated for their violence and intolerance by other Muslims. (They also kill many fellow Muslims)

Do you eat shellfish? Congratulations, if you're a Christian, you're doing something the Bible expressly forbids. Many Muslims also ignore big parts of the Koran.

Also, it's exactly because of religious liberty that Christians will also always be free to practice their faith; we only have a problem with it or with Islam when it affects public policy over science or causes discrimination.

Nice gratuitous Race Card play. Does the Dem Party leadership auto-issue that political card to all their voters?

When we're talking large-scale elections, the Senate is a better indicator than the House, isn't it? The house elections are more regional and therefore use a smaller voter base.

Most Presidents in modern times have lost Senate seats in the midterms, Trump gained Senate seats. The Democrats have also developed a bad habit of appealing to the far left in their primaries which will not help them in 2020; this may be one reason why Hillary Clinton seems to be seriously considering running again, which would be like a gift from God to my meme folder.

Back in 2010 when even a stunned Barack Obama admitted that he and the Dem Party received a political shellacking in the mid term elections even the leftist-allied mainstream media actually admitted the same for a day or two and then quickly switched over to either ignoring the event or spinning it so that political up was actually down and in was actually out.

The results of this election had some few of them initially admitting that the House going to the Dem Party was nothing more than the standard mid term elections turnover suffered by just about any president and his party. But now I am coming across more and more leftist allied media outlet 'analysis' once again turning political out to in and up to down as they somehow make it seem that a normal political turnover of the House -- with the GOP growing even stronger in the senate -- indicates a massive political win for the Dem Party. Then the Mainstream Media wonder why they have lost the confidence of the nation in their 'news' reporting and analysis.

That aside, yes, it would be a massive gift for the Right if Hillary Clinton were to run again, and the memes -- oh good Lord, the memes!

The OP is based entirely upon the fallacies that the economy can defy gravity and the BLOTUS can evade the law forever.

Trump's derangement is treatable? I wonder.

I'm no Trump fan. He's the worst and most dangerous President America has ever had.

However Trump needs to finish out his term.

It's not worth the distraction to do otherwise.

He's already dug his grave......Let the Federal Lawsuits in progress now bury him and what little dignity he has Left.

After all he is going thru, do you really think Trump is going to want another term? Only if he is a glutton for punishment.

My apologies for the insult. Given I was using the word "man" as the way hippies use it.

I doubt if Trump is going to want to run again in 2020. I will be surprised if he does. He is not cut out for the job of President. Even most Republicans know that he struggles mightily.

Democrats decided to punish him once he was elected. Before he was sworn in, their plan was resistance full to the max.

What makes you believe that? Trump is an old hand facing such resistance as the Democrats can throw at him.

Trump loves all the hate coming his way. He's cruising along as if no one is whining. Only alt left radicals are hilarious enough to think he won't run in 2020.

He has been very testy lately. Did you see him at the press event a day after the election when he got into an argument with Jim Acosta and Jamish Alcindor, the Black female journalist? He just attacked them for asking simple questions. Then later, he got angry at a another Black lady journalist; I can't think of her name. She asked a simple question too.
I can't imagine the uproar if Obama had talked to the press like that.

So, is he saying and doing inappropriate things just to anger the Democrats? Is that a good strategy for a President?

There is no way not to anger Democrats. They did it to Bush too.

Acosta was not asking simple questions. He was leveling accusations at Trump. Alcindor also likes to rub him the wrong way. It took close to 2 years for Trump to finally handle Acosta the way he had to. Alcindor is not as bad.

I admit there was some hostility against GWB. I wasn't a big fan of his, but I think he was a better President than Trump.

Bush for one thing had ran government prior to running it in DC. Bush also is much smarter than Democrats ever admitted he is. Bush also had a president father to also talk things over with.

Trump is learning. And we will learn later how well he learns.
