If a coma patient is left medically unattended and a pregnant woman is left medically unattended, what eventually happens to each of them?

Is this if abortion was banned and whether I would make an exception for a mother who decided that their ZEF or fetus is bad? Obviously it is irrelevant where abortion is legal.
