So it has been concluded by our own and Trump's own CIA that the Saudi prince-dictator ordered the murder of a US resident on Turkish soil -- Our initial response to that was, "but the Saudis are rich and they buy our weapons and stuff" -- Turkish officials came forward and said they could prove who killed Khashoggi (US Resident #1), Trump's response to that was "The Saudi prince said he didn't do it and he said it very strong and powerfully, oh so powerful". From the article: "Citing sources familiar with the matter, The Post claims that the CIA came to its conclusion after examining multiple sources of information. Another senior US official reportedly told US news channel CNN, that the conclusion is based on a recording provided by the Turkish government and other evidence."

Now Mike Pompeo's CIA have concluded that indeed it was the Saudi prince who had a US resident murdered -- to make things even more complicated, Trump is actively trying to find a way to hand over another long time US resident (US Resident #2) to Turkey so he too can be tortured and murdered. Why? To appease Turkey so Turkey will not make such a big fuss over Saudi Arabia murdering US resident #1 on their soil -- So apparently, if we give Turkey US Resident #2 to murder, then Saudi murdering US Resident #1 would go away -- maybe we can just let Turkey come on over and murder US Resident #2 on our soil, why not?

 

It was believed by our diplomats that Muhammad bin Nayef, the crown prince at the time when Trump came to the presidency, was the most pro-American Saudi minister in their cabinet, but Kushner, Bannon and Trump quickly saw that in their minds, Mohammad bin Salman was the future of Saudi Arabia. There was a German intelligence memo which indicated that this shift was likely to occur, but they also felt that MBS would be a reformer in the country. He was Defense Minister and had been the architect for the horrendous war in Yemen, but this did not dissuade Trump from wanting to deal with him and to increase the assistance to Saudi Arabia. Selling more arms, and helping refuel Saudi fighters that they had purchased from the Untied States, to drop bombs also manufactured in the United States on targets that the Trump administration takes no responsibility for.

This latest atrocity just highlights the complete departure of our ethics and concern for human rights in dealing with the world.

Just a curious question - when would you 'care'? If he ordered the assassination of an American citizen, would you care? Khashoggi was the holder of an O-1 Visa (for extraordinary individuals - link below) and reportedly was working towards obtaining a green card - he also has 3 children who are American citizens.

MBS isn't a US ally, Saudi Arabia is an ally. Just my opinion but the King has to remove MBS from power and replace him with people who are a heck of a lot more practiced and disciplined in foreign relations, diplomacy and policy. This shouldn't alter the "ally" situation at all, the Saudis need the US more than the US needs the Saudis.......and the $110 billion in military sales and the $450 billion in sales of other goods and the 1 million jobs that depend on Saudi purchases - Complete and total horseshit Trump told to his gullible base.....
