For some reason smiling has always annoyed me. I don't like the weird smile on Trump's face. I didn't like what some called Obama's "sh*t eating" grin (must be a Democratic attribute as Clinton had a similar one). And we know that many did not like George W. Bush's "smirk". I always loved John Calicos's character of the Klingon Kor from the original Star Trek season one episode "I don't trust people who smile too much". If I'm ever in politics, I resolve to smile as little as possible. I remember one of my football players saying "Coach do you ever smile?". I said "I smile all the time". He said "When?" Me "Twice last year"

Is it annoying because on some level you know the person smiling is a smug ******* and ***********? Hmmmm... Now that I'm thinking about it, I sorta get it. The people you listed serve or have served in powerful positions that could affect millions of lives. Their smiles denotes a seemingly lack of appreciation for this.

Smiling is good for you, and helps nurture your outlook and relays a comfortable persona to others.. I'm not a natural smiler, which means a lot of people assume I'm in a bad mood and leaves me alone. When I was a telemarketer, we smiled while on the phone because you naturely can relate better to who is on the other end. Nothing wrong with a positive people person in office.
Trump has a few different facial expressions. The one that makes me laugh is when he poses like Benito Mussolini.

There are sincere smiles, Clinton, Bush I and II, Obama (this guy lights up a room when he smiles), and Trump, when he does. The guy who totally gives me the creeps when he smiles is Mitch McConnell. It's what I call the lemon sucker smile. It looks like a grimace.

I don't like the fakeness of a smile. They smile, when introduced on air, and how they DROP the smile, shows how savvy they are. I am talking about the trappings of on air pleasantry. They smile, and are EVER so polite, ALWAYS introducing, and thanking. All the while, our pig in chief, shows NO gentility. Somewhere in between would be nice. And the crazy thing is, most guests on air, are staring at a dot. A camera, in a room that only they are in.
